Rebecca Bastida: Love this! Needed a cook top for my RV because I'm not using the propane stove. Works perfectly. Provides hot temperature and is easy to use. It sits stable on the counter. Highly recommend as an option when your stove isn't working!

A.Del.: This is a life saver!

Very modern design, light weight, and fits in small spaces.

Works better than an old stove which takes a long time to heat up and boil water.

Although these burners work too well! You have to be careful with the temperature because it does heat up fast and it’s super hot.

I actually had to turn it off and unplug it because it kept heating my food too much even at low heat.

But that’s not a problem, I love my burners. They’re a great and useful purchase.

efrohnert: This is one of the few cheap hot plates with solid cast iron burner and continuously variable heat setting. Most have 5 steps and no fine adjustment. Amazing for the price. It boils a quart of water in an 8” pot reasonably quick, maybe 8 minutes, for only being 1000w. If you have a big 12” aluminum or cast iron skillet it will not cook fast or brown foods much. It works ok for eggs, bacon, veggies and fish, but it would take a long time to cook a steak or boil corn on the cob in a bigger pot. You definitely use max temp for that. The temp control cycles to hold temp, but the cast iron burner holds a very stable temperature, good design.

Gog: My gas stove had to be turned off without warning, so I ordered this cook top while I wait for an electric stove to be installed. Overall, it's fine.

Pros:
- There are two burners that work independently.
- Easy to clean.
- Doesn't take up too much space and can be put away when not in use.

Cons:
- The power indicator light turns off when temperature is achieved, so it's not obvious that the appliance is on. This makes no sense to me - it would have been better to use one color light for when it is heating up, and another color to stay on while the burners are heated. It's a potential danger as you might not realize the burners are on when they are, in fact, fully heated. This was my reason for knocking off a star.
- If you're used to gas cooking like me, the time it takes to heat the burners and fine-tune the heat will be disappointing. I think this is a general fact regarding gas vs electric cooking.
