Sharoyn Livingston: This thing is not powerful enough to fry 2 pork chops at 325 deg. It will heat up to 340, but as soon as you put a room temp pork chop in the oil the temp will plummet to around 240 and never come back up. All this does is oil soak your chop without crisping the meat. Why would you even bother to make such a cooktop?

Karla: No cuento con una estufa normal. Pero sin duda se puede cocinar muy bien, la temperatura del calor no se puede medir como uno quisiera, pero no hay necesidad. Llevo 2 meses con ella y no tengo ningún problema ni del aparato, ni digestivo xD

Amazon Customer: So far so good, I bought this to use while our electric range is replaced with kitchen remodeling and for travel when plugin is possible. The cord is short, approx. 2 ft, so you need a flat surface next to an outlet. It heats up quickly and quietly and has two idiot-proof knobs which I much prefer to a digital touch panel. It is compact, great for travel, but that means the burners (one 7" one 5") can't handle large pots and pans. I have some small aluminum cooking gear for backpacking and they heat up lightning-fast with this unit. Also my small cast-iron pan works well. The temperature control took some getting used to. As others have mentioned, it remains hot for a while after turning-off, so leave cookware on the burner to cover the glass.

ᗯᗩᗪᔕᗯOᖇTᕼᗯᗩᗪᔕᗯOᖇTᕼ: The media could not be loaded.  Once you get passed the smell of the 15 min to set the protective coating and it clears out , the smell is not longer noticeable.

I used a metal pan with no issues. It is different seeing the hot plate light go on and off but I am guessing that it is to keep the heat at a constant temp.

The reviews said that people were not able to make noodles, it took about 20 min to boil, which I think is pretty good time In my opinion.

Sasha Riviera: I purchased this stove for a small studio apartment and it works perfectly for my needs. The temperature can get very hot, although it does take slightly longer than a normal stove, and anything lower than the highest setting takes forever to cook. Simple to clean, although seems to get stained easily. Overall I am very happy with this product and recommend it for anyone cooking in a tight space. Be aware that the cord is very short!

This stove has not quite lasted a year. The seller is sending me a replacement which I appreciate, but in order to have them pay the shipping fee for the replacement, I needed to edit this review to include their return service. I don't appreciate the coercion.
