Amanda: You will need a good drill bit. Plugs aren’t great and the screw head seems to small to lock the sliding base to the wall- although tbf hasn’t yet failed to hold.
I fixed mine between a garage wall to a 2 story playhouse that has a natural route of wind. I liked that it is to retract so decapitation of children is avoided.
If like myself you seem to have a suspicious amount of extra screws and fixtures from previous DIY furniture then the above is no problem. Otherwise consider a good drill bit, three wall plugs & philip screws or even screw hooks may be needed to confidently complete installation.
