Rtortorici: The holes don't line up to the old holes already in the wall from the old one. And when they put the mortar around the bricks they make the opening not so circular. I had to do some manual adjustments to the product to get it to fix. I ended up gluing it to stay in there. Now it has become a permanent fixture of the house.

MagPie1978: This fit well and is working to keep the Wrens out of our dryer vent. Only issue was my Husband used a power tool and overtightened the screw an cracked the plastic. (Use a normal screwdriver!)

James Shipman: Looking at the pictures, this looked like it was a flush mount vent cover. It has a protrusion that is designed to slide into the vent. it sticks out the back about 1.5" or so. This wouldn't usually be an issue as it's designed to just slide into your vent pipe and then screw on.
The issue I had, which is not an issue with the product, is the vents that I needed to cover are the vents for my bathroom exhaust fan. The builder used a 3" flex hose (similar to the one you would connect to the back of your dryer) and then used a completely flush mounted (no rear protrusion) vent cover.
simple solution. I used a hack-saw and sawed off the protrusion flush with the back of vent cover. It then mounted to the house and I haven't had birds chirping in my ceiling anymore.
So, easy to install, value for the money, functionality, ease of use, all 5 stars, no doubt. I gave it 4 stars on Accuracy, simply because the pictures make it look like it is a flush mount. The description didn't actually SAY that, but I haven't found one yet that did. I'd give it 4.5 Stars if it would let me.
I bought two of them. They work great so far. I did notice the bird has now moved to...
