MagVent MV-180 Magnetic Dryer Vent Coupling

Trish: I got this vent today and my son installed it in less than 30 minutes. The old vent I had caused an error code on my new LG dryer so I needed a new vent that wouldn't bend and curl, causing air to not flow. The magvent allowed my dryer to be closer to the wall and have enough air flow.

Sunlover: My dryer vent tubing is always a mess because I can't get behind the dryer to line it up. With this magnetic vent system installed it just clicks together. My dryer is working more efficiently and I can clean behind the dryer with no more anxiety about reconnecting the tubing.
Install was a bit of a chore (I am not handy and don't have proper tools). The directions and template were spot on.

DevilDoc: This was an easy install. Make sure you're dryer output is near the same height up the wall as the vent and make sure your dryer output lines up (left to right) within an inch or two of the vent to minimize the distance from the dryer to the wall. I went from a 7inch distance to the wall to near 3 inches. If you're building, this is the way to go. It makes for an easy connect and disconnect once it's in place.

Robin P. Harris: I installed a stackable washer and dryer into a tight area and didn’t want to try and feed the dryer vent and then push everything back in. I heard of these magnetic vents. Amazing, we were off by a lil bit and it lined right up on its own and hooked its self up. Love it!!

ZBeard: This thing isn't cheap, but it works as advertised, installation is simple, and it ranks pretty high on the cool-o-meter. It makes disconnecting and reconnecting your dryer a snap - literally. Dryers and dryer vents are two things many people neglect to clean, and it's absolutely amazing how much lint and debris collects in them. I just finished a thorough cleaning on both and my dryer is drying over twice as fast as it did before the cleaning. From now on it will be annual maintenance at my house and the MagVent will make it much easier. And you know how maintenance is - the easier it is, the more likely it will get done. Thumbs up on this one.

CanadaMom: This allowed me to install my new dryer directly to the wall vent very securely. It was easy to install (both the wall portion and the dryer portion) and works like a charm! No more fussing with vents that slip over time. Highly recommend this!

Kate: Easy to fit. Make sure to select the correct model. This one mounts into the wall, the othe one has a 90 degree angle to mount externally from the wall to the dryer. Due the door arrangement of the washer, the vent pipe lays across the back of the washer to connect to the dryer. Makes everything very tidy and efficient.

David St-Poche: It was not as easy to install as I had hope. Works well when properly lined up but you have to be careful otherwise it can leave a gap. It took me about 90 minutes to get it setup properly. Works best if berthing lines up but if the dryer and outlet are offset it’s a bit trickier.
