Holly: I feel the object has to be too close to the light in order for the motion to be detected. I do feel the lighting is perfect.

Tony Bones: Got a house in a neighborhood without street lights. Coming from NY it will take me a while to unlearn some of the NYer-isms like compulsively checking locks and such.
Picked up a couple of these lights, installation was a breeze. The only thing worth mentioning is if you're going to use a power tool to fasten them to the wall use your OWN screws. The screws it came with stripped too fast for my comfort.
Post-installation: They charged in a day, and that night they shone adequately bright for my liking. The 3 settings all seem logical and useful. They last all night here as we get a good 6-8 of strong sunlight throughout the day.
I may consider getting another pair just because!

TiffanyTiffany: Just put them up today (7/9/22) & so far I'm happy! Even though they are mixed reviews I decided to try them anyway and for the price...why not! They were easy to put up & easy to take down if we needed to. As you can see from the pictures that both sides of my house is very dark & look how they light up my yard. I have it set to only turn on if there is motion but you really need to get right up under it to get them to go off. I may purchase more for the backyard but I'll see how these do first.

Andrew C.Andrew C.: Couldn't find any details on mounting, so that is my main focus. The included bracket mounts to the wall using 3 screws. After mounting the bracket, the light slides onto the bracket, held in place by gravity. The bracket mounts to the solar panel, making the panel not adjustable. The panel has a 30 degree downward tilt, and is not adjustable side to side. The bracket is about an inch deep, so it should clear trim boards if you want to mount it flush.
The light output is exaggerated (what do you expect from Amazon stuff), but bright enough to provide visibility in the dark. No comment on longevity or how long the batteries last during the night. It is fairly lightweight. I will probably 3d print a bracket to hang mine from a rain gutter.
