DMS82: I use this in my backyard. Does a great job at lighting the entire space. I did not connect the motion detector because I have had tree branches turn motion lights on and off when the wind would blow.

Mark WMark W: We purchased this twin light to replace and old single floodlight. The light is quite bright and works on/off from inside home switch. Light is located on second story deck and cast over the lower deck and side yard easily and effectively. Installation wiring went well and appears to be watertight as have had up for over a year as of this review and still works great. This was a DIY project.

vermontdreams: Love this light! We use it at night when the dogs need to go potty. And when I say night, I’m talking 2 or 3 a.m.! It is DARK here in the woods of Vermont, and we have all manner of wild animals and birds. So we need a bright light that illuminates a wide area just in case there’s some critter out there! I wouldn’t want my little dogs to go out there unless I could see the entire yard WELL, and this light does the job!

R. JacksonR. Jackson: The amount of light spread is extremely bright and generous all while being in a very light housing. We'll see how these hold up to the 110 degree+ weather here in Tucson but the only thing I could comment on was that the main installation screw hole is NOT a standard size so you can't just use the old bracket that may be in place. You either have to drill out the light screw 'hole' with a 3/16" bit or replace the entire grounding bracket with the one they supply and a different sized screw. Otherwise, very nice, small package for a light.
