Amazon Customer: I initially bought a 4 pack not expecting much or for them to last very long. Boy was I wrong. These lights are great and I since bought 4 more packs. I have a one acre fenced in yard and have them placed about every 20 feet along the fence. What a huge difference and great upgrade. Very satisfied and will be buying more. Oh yeah....no electric bill.

Janice L.: These lights work great along a fence or in a small yard. I have them set to dim, but bright upon motion (2 clicks). They work great for taking the dog outside at night, security around parked cars, hanging on a fence line, or for light anywhere outside that you don't have electricity. I have some I've had for over a year and they still work great. I'm adding some around the front of the house so if we forget to turn on the outside lights at night it's not completely dark. One at each entrance door would help when unlocking the door in the dark. They light up to very bright upon motion. They work best if they get full sun during the day.

Ann: I didn't like that changing modes are based on the number of lights, without clear instructions (press once, one light goes on for mode 1, press twice, two lights go on for mode 2 etc.) The mode switch is well hidden behind the light, where it would be against the wall (or in my case, against the tree). It would have been helpful to have what each mode is somewhere on the light itself in case the very brief instructions were not handy. That said, I have 4 of tehse lights mounted on trees lining the path to my house, and they detect motion well and stay on ling enough to pass by. (I am using the mode where they are on dimly and brighten upon detecting movement.) My house is on a lake in a forest, and we get a lot of wind blowing off the lake, but the lights don't go on based on the movement in the trees, just people walking by. The area of coverage is good, and I would buy more of these if needed.

Bathsheba: I have had these light for about 5months now, they have worked very well for me. The lighting quality at nights is very bright and I’m pleased with the value. One advice i would give is to install it in a way that will allow you to touch the button at the back if you need to change the lighting settings as these don’t come with a remote and if the back is completely covered after installation you will have to remove it to put it on your desired setting. Overall it is a great product.

Keith GreenKeith Green: Paid about $5 ea., and they work better than expected in a rural setting. Motion sensor on setting 3 doesnt activate with groundhog sized movement, but does work with human sized objects. I had to choose setting 1, with constant low brightness to keep critters away. The supplied 1200 mAh 18650 battery doesnt last the entire night despite removing lights to to ensure they all get 7 hours of direct sunlight after charging for 14 hours in the sun. I would gladly pay a premium if the battery was 2000+ mAh as I suspect it would continue to shine until dawn. I put a silicone bead between the housing and the solar panel and on the removable back on 3 of the 4 sides, leaving the bottom unsealed, but the one I didnt seal works just as well as the other 3 for the past 4 months. Despite my critiques, I purchased another set of 4 to fully illuminate my home. Are they the best, no, but they are a good value. EDIT: With the second set I just put them up witouth sealing with silicone as I previously mentioned and less than a week later, one of them was damaged and was flickering (see attached pic). I would HIGHLY recommend sealing these up if you want to ensure they last as long as possible.

Mira: I glued strong bar magnets to the back of these lights and had 2 on each side of my van for security. I was amazed at how bright they were and how responsive the motion detector setting was. Perfect for what I needed however I have used them for 4 months now and 1 is now dead, and 2 others are very dim. Disappointing for the price (I think I paid $80 plus Canadian) and what I thought was a perfect solution. Too bad.
