The non-stick coating in this waffle maker is amazing. Nothing sticks to it. I like that it is ceramic-based and non-toxic. It also heats up fast and cooks evenly. It's easy to set the temperature and get consistent results. However some small improvements could make the product better.
First of all, although the griddle part is non-stick, the plastic parts around it can be difficult to clean because batter can spill out and get into cracks and crevices. Because the unit can not be disassembled or submerged in water at all, certain areas can be hard to clean.
The second problem is that the plate underneath isn't big enough to catch batter that spills out the side during cooking, so it can end up on your countertop. Make sure you don't overfill the waffle maker or you will have a serious mess! It would be better if the plate was a bit bigger so it could catch spills more effectively.

Holly: Healthy non-stick surface. Handle can be folded so it takes less room for storage. One of our favourite small appliances.

StevenSteven: I've used this 3 times now and it passes all my criterion for a good waffle maker. I read all safety tips, instructions and also followed the instructions for the pancake mixed I used and the battery is easy to make and cooks well in this waffle maker. See pictures. The very 1st thing I did was clean the ceramic waffle surface with a soft brush and Dawn soap. The instructions do not say to clean it prior to use but I always do with any new cooking product. I did not make any test or throw-away waffles. The first one I made tasted awesome! Once batter was ready (and waffle maker on for 3 minutes on high) I filled the bottom up to just the edge (there is no need for any nonstick spray) I then closed the lid softly and let sit for 10 seconds then flipped and waited for the green light, then flipped back over (which took about 1 minute) then carefully used the stainless steel tongs to pull the waffle out and onto a paper plate. For a more crispy, darker waffle you will need to leave in longer for about 2 minutes 30 seconds total. I made a dark waffle and it is amazing and does not stick at all. Ive had absolutely no issues setting up or using this waffle maker and...

I bought my "Oster CKSTWFBF10WM-ECO DuraCeramic Flip Waffle Maker, Beige/Champagne" from Amazon for just $19 a few days ago, and I love it! It would still be a bargain at twice the price.
The color is more of a bronze-brown than beige or champagne, and I'm glad for that. It looks very nice.
The non-stick coating is the best I've ever seen on any cookware. It's truly amazing. I've made three batches of waffles, and they've all come out great. I've put no oil or cooking spray on the cooking surface, yet nothing sticks to it at all. The waffles just lift right out. Supposedly cleanup is done by wiping it with a moist cloth or paper towel, but I haven't had to do that because there's literally been nothing left on the cooking surface to clean off.
The waffles are wonderful, just like those that the hotel waffle makers make, but the non-stick coating is better on this unit than the nonstick coatings on hotel waffle makers.
According to my ruler, the waffles are about 7/8" thick, with big, deep pockets. I'd call that a Belgian waffle, though the box doesn't say "Belgian."
I don't know whether the waffles will fit in my toaster,...

J. HillJ. Hill: I wanted a waffle iron to make chaffles. If you haven't heard of them, they are waffles, made from egg and mozzarella cheese, and are gluten free/ keto friendly. If you're interesting do a search there's a million recipes. Anyway, I wanted an ceramic waffle maker. I just don't trust the other kinds of non-stick. I have some ceramic pans and they work great. Likewise, this ceramic waffle maker is as non-stick as can be.
Some reviews complained about the light indicator not being accurate for cooking time. I don't even look at that. I judge, based on steam coming out. Steam will slow and come to a stop as the waffle gets cooked. You can open it to peek at it. If it's not done enough for you, just close it back up. My process is, I heat it with the dial set to about 3/4 of the way up, put my batter in (remember this is chaffle batter, regular might be different timing) flip and set a timer for 5 minutes. When 5 minutes is up, flip to the first side, and time for 1 minute more. Then it's done. I make these once a week and a few extra for the freezer for mid-week happiness. Just throw in the toaster from freezer to reheat.
My one complaint is that it...
