My only issue would be that I can’t cook more than 1 pizza or more than 1 cookie sheet at a time or if I do one of the racks doesn’t cook very well and then other over cooks. That’s disappointing but other than that it’s awesome.

JohnB: We had a small air fryer that worked well. We upgraded to the large air fryer and what a difference. We use it everyday and find it easy to use, well constructed, and durable. I like the large size because it allows us to air fry almost a pound of bacon quickly. A really nice addition to our kitchen!

dckdvd: We were between ovens, when our range died after 20 years. We got this as a solution for quick meals that test better baked over microwave.
It uses much less energy and creates much less heat than our traditional range/oven. One of the features we like most is probably its biggest issue. We wanted something that's large enough to bake full pizzas, which makes this thing take up a lot of counter space. A lot.
Overall, the convenience is nice. No need to preheat, the controls are, mostly, intuitive and it cooks pretty evenly. The build quality is good, too.
Other than size, my only complaints are minor. The 'done' beep is obnoxious and doesn't turn off easily when you push the off button. The glass door comes down pretty far and, because of the size of the oven, it actually hits the sharp edge of the counter top. We have to be mindful when we open it.
We've, since, replaced our old range/oven, but we still use this toaster oven every day.

Dusky: I bought this oven because it was highly recommended on a nontoxic blog. In terms of build, it seems kind of cheap, but I think that is just how things are these days. It gets really hot so it doesn’t keep heat inside well, and the instructions say too open the oven door with an underhand hold. I held it with an overhand hold and ended up up burning a knuckle when it contacted the top metal surface of the door. So I would be wary about use around young children and make sure you have a clear unobstructed area to put it in. That said, this oven is HUGE and is a nice replacement for our broken built in full size oven. The controls are absurdly simple. Button push the oven setting you want, then temp, time if needed, start. My mom complained there is no beeping (for feedback when you push each button) but it isn’t a microwave! The only time it beeps is when it is done, and it sounds very loudly. Can’t turn down the sound on that unfortunately.

TBubs: I rented an apartment and it came with a large stove counter top but no oven! So I bought this and its been a lifesaver. It does the job just as well as a normal oven. Very spacious and holds a roast very well.

Stella: Bought this oven 3 months ago - having previously returned another comparable countertop oven from a different manufacturer after an intensely frustrating experience trying to get it to give decent results. Scarred from the previous oven I approached this Oster with low expectations - and have been blown away by the non-dramatic way it just does what I need. Sure there were a few quirks to get used to - and it isn't a full size oven, so don't expect it to compete with one. However, it will take most of my usual cookware and can take on pretty much any job I need a second oven to do. I have got used to using it to make toast or melt toppings on open sandwiches (both areas the previous one couldn't perform in) with total confidence that it will produce good results. I have used it to bake bread, broil steaks ( surprisingly juicy and tender), bake cakes, pizza, etc. If you want a countertop oven that is large enough for most tasks - in my case to cook in while I waited forever for the spare part needed for my full sized range to work again - I recommend this one. No drama, just reliably gets on with the job.

David Spencer: I was looking for a good-sized, actual countertop oven, not just a toaster oven because I already have a 4-slice toaster for toast and bagels. This Oster has probably the largest interior of appliances of this type, at least for household use. The unit seems well built and can be used for essentially anything that I would normally have to use the oven of my kitchen stove for. However, I am very disappointed in the operating controls. I have owned several countertop ovens over the years and one feature they had was the built-in ability in most situations to pre-heat. It is pretty much standard when cooking or preparing frozen food that the packages specify that the food be cooked at a specific temperature for a narrow range of time. So the standard routine is to set the temperature and time, start the oven, and when the desired temperature is reached the oven beeps and then you place your food in the oven. This Oster cannot do that. They have a strange, supposed work-around for pre-heating where you choose the temperature you will be using, set the time for 7 minutes, press "Bake", and when that is done you then set the oven up for what you really are wanting to do. If you do not...

NY-NC GAL: I owned the Oster XL (non air dry)oven for many years (8) and it had so much baked on stuff that I decided to treat myself & replace. It was still working fine.
Replaced with this XL Air Fry and comparing the two, I see a big difference in the quality of some things.
Dislike # 1
First - “The Blinking Light”
When unit is plugged in the Air Fry light will blink non stop. Very annoying. On any appliance I have had, a blinking light is an indication for you to do something. There is no option for a steady display. I read other’s comments ( after I purchased) and also called. Maybe Oster fixed it? “No” I was told.
So….. I need to unplug and plug. Older Oster unit had a clock display and NO blinking light when plugged in.
Dislike # 2
Baking pan - Older Oster unit had a heavy duty enamel baking pan. New unit has a very light pan with a sprayed coating of some sort that had already flaked off on some parts. I did not use it at all. I got rid of it and spent $40+ ordering the original from a replacement parts store online.
Check your pan and inspect if coating is coming off before and after you cook. Clean gently.
