michael alexander: I would like to start by saying this is a great waffle Iron. This makes it quickly and lets you know when it is done. Easy clean up. Use oil spray in a can or wipe with a paper towel so that it makes the waffles pop out. This does not make the two inch Belgian Waffles. This is small and makes regular sized waffles thats it. Overall really works well.

Baublitz: I didn't expect much for something so cheap, but I was blown away by the quality. The surface does not stick and cleans very easily. It cooks waffles very well. Nothing fancy, but what bells and whistles do you need?

A tip: set it to almost top heat and ignore the light. Just watch to see when the waffle stops producing lots of steam and that's when it's ready. It takes a time or two to get it down, but once you do it is a perfect cook every time.

Brandy: I wanted an inexpensive waffle maker that got the job done. I didn't want a super expensive one with lots of fancy adaptations (and problems). The Oster is easy to use (plug it in), easy to clean (wipe it off), easy to store (vertical), and frankly the whole process takes mere minutes. The waffles that come out aren't very thick or deep but they're light, crispy and delicious.

I've found the edges tend to be thinner and if you use too much batter to help compensate for this, it overflows down the sides. It's a bit tricky to pour just enough but not too much. My waffles aren't very thick on the edges but for this price, I'm happy.

The Joylevel: I bought this because I have been looking for a waffle maker for what seems like years. My search on Amazon showed this as an option and the price could not be beat.
I did not have waffle mix at home when this arrived, and my kids wanted 'breakfast for dinner' :) which we do once a month. I just followed the recipe that came with the care instructions and it came out perfect, yay!
Since I am a Prime member, I got this on my porch just a day and a half later, and I didn't have to pay for shipping. So awesome.
Tip: make sure to clean it well before first use and 'grease' it up well. After my first use, the chemical type smell that comes with new kitchen appliances went away and I don't butter it up anymore.
Waffles cook evenly and taste great.

Grampa Joe: We spent a lot on our Villaware Belgian Waffle maker. Bigest waste of money ever. Controls were off the wall did not know what to expect. We ordered this Oster nd it is simply fabulous. Heats up quickly. Has beautiful temperature control. Lights up when ready, green light indicates when finished. You get consistent results every time . Easy to clean. We forgot to butter the griddle as with our Villaware if your forgot half stuck to the top the other half to the botttom. This did not need any butter and produced perfect waffles every time. The price is unbeatable.We bought this primarily for my wife who needs gluten free recipes/ This was our first attempt at trying gluten free recipe that worked on this waffle iron. Here's our RECIPE: 2 egg yolks, 2 egg whites 2 cups milk, 2 cups Jules all-purpose flour 1 TBL baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 2 tsp sugar 1/3 cup oil(not olive oil) 1 tsp vanilla. Whip egg yolks and 1 tsp sugar on a water bath over hot water stove off. till ribbon forms. Whip whites & 1 tsp sugar till stiff peaks form. Whip egg whites with clean mixer(no egg yolk on it) FOLD together with egg yolk mixture. Mix all other ingredients in another bowl....
