I was surprised to see that the products also burn off like this in Canada. I thought that they are very well checked for the Quality standards before they are sold. The Dough maker was efficient enough. I even followed their rule "Do not use it for 3 continous minutes".
But still it burnt off and it is not working any more.
I did not have the time and patience to write a review or to even return the product. As I just gave up on the Making the Dough itself ! Thought that better I continue to make the dough manually.
Shocking is that why are these products even allowed to be sold??? This is the first time that I ever had an issue from the products that I purchased from Amazon.
@Dear Amazon: Please try to review the products for their quality and standards. I have a lot of trust in you guys. Please make sure that the low quality products are barred from your website.
It has a clear photo which shows that it is used for making the Dough. So this is clearly not a dough maker as advertised. Perhaps you can use it for the vegetables, but surely not for the Dough maker.

Satisfied: I was hesitant to buy this model based on the reviews, but I temporarily needed something that could chop entire meals up. I am glad that I bought it as it does everything I need it to do, and more. I use it for everything now: cake mixing, cookie dough, fruit and veggie slicing and chopping, and the aforementioned meal pulverizing. I gave away my 2 blenders ... they just couldn't keep up with this welcome appliance. The only thing it may not do as well as more expensive models is pureeing food, which a blender does a quicker job of. Nevertheless, I have adapted. It's quite lightweight and has a cord manager (good engineering). As long as you follow the instructions for putting the parts together, you should have no problem with the lighter weight. Best part is the value for the money.

This is not a high end food processor, it won't compete with a Breveille and cie, but for the price it is working pretty well and does the work.
If you try to do rice cauliflower, don't use the blade, shredded cauliflower will get stuck below the blade and what is above won't be cut well, or you will have to do small quantity at the time, but if you use the shredder and feed the food processor by the top, it will be fine.
Overwall, pretty happy with it, good value for the money.

Jeelise: I think that others have had this problem too, which I wish I would have paid more attention to. The first time I used the food processor, although it worked perfectly, was easy to set up and wasn't too loud, somehow a piece of shredded carrot got into the part of the bowl by the handle where the spring is. There is no way to take this apart to clean it, and the piece of carrot won't come out no matter what I've tried. I contacted Oster online through their website, clearly outlining the problem, and got back a form email telling me I could take it to a service centre for repair. The nearest service centre to me is more than a 3 hour drive away. Yeah, I don't think so. I then tried calling Oster's phone number, and both times got one of those wonderful automated voice systems, where, after pressing a few buttons to get where I needed to go, the recording stated that they were experiencing heavier than normal call volumes and wouldn't be able to handle my call. The call was then disconnected. This is certainly not good customer service. They should have been able to explain to me how to remove food that gets into this part of the bowl. If this is a design flaw...

Kara kelly: Love the food processor it works great! I find the whole system super user friendly. There is only 1 downfall is there is a small gap that contracts small particles of food that I can figure out how to take apart to open it and clean it..
