M JohnsnM Johnsn: I will say that it looks nice. I never used it because I thought the food processor part of it would be more true to a food processor. Unlike other dual blenders and food processors this dad only one blade and it was very limiting because the blade would only go in one position. Everything looked sturdy.

Kathryn/KateKathryn/Kate: Although the blender took a while to be delivered it was an American appliance, and not suitable for the UK.
I was unable to use it with its 2 pin plug as there was no option to switch it over to UK voltage, and I was advised it would require a transformer as a straightforward adaptor wouldn't have been safe.
What a shame that I hadn't realised it was unsuitable but the seller was helpful enough with my questioning.
Sadly, I had to return it and my search goes on.

Anna: I've had this blender several months and it serves my purposes quite well. I make a lot of green smoothies and Veggie blends. I had an Oster Versa, that finally died, and I wanted to replace it, but the Versa has increased in price. This blender is very similar to the Versa but is reasonably priced. It runs like a dream, and everything is smoothe even in the "thick" setting. I also frequently blend soaked, hulless oats, and it works well for that, too. Amazon carries the organic hulless oats, from Seversons Farms. The blender cup is also less bulky at the base than the Versa and lighter weight which makes it easier to clean. It works great for what I do. And the food processor did come with the blade. I think for this price level, this is a really good product. I would recommend it to a friend.

Kathy: This is a great blender for most uses. I like that it has a very sturdy blade with multiple arms to boost its blending power. It has very sharp, and I have to use a little care when I handle it. The blender has good power, and the multiple settings allow me to customize it for whatever I need to do. I haven't used it for chopping things, but my guess is that it would work best for salsa only. It doesn't work well for nut butter because there's too much of a space surrounding the blade; I tried that once and will never go through all the work of scraping down the sides. It took a fraction of the time in my food processor. One quirk with the blender handle is that it retains water in the dishwasher. I have to tip it over and shake it to empty it each time. But overall, I'm happy with it, and it seems to be of a good enough quality that it will last a long time.

SewingbeautySewingbeauty: Talk about a power house. I absolutely love, love, love this blender. It has all the horsepower you need. And no more stopping to pulse it. It does that automatically while blending. I was scared it was malfunctioning but wait for it,😃 it's supposed to do that so you don't have to stop, stir, start. The blade is super sharp and pointy so be very careful when reaching in to wash. The bottom separates/unscrews for easy cleaning of the pitcher. Haven't tried the processor yet but that was the determining factor for my purchase. I'm just soo hooked on being able to put all the things I want in my smoothies in this blender vs halving it in my nutri bullet. The presets are amazing. You get to choose texture settings, manual speeds & easily go from smoothie to milkshake to salsa. You can expect no more than top quality from the Oster brand. The pitcher holds 2L/2000 ml. So you will be very pleased to do parties as well as everyday applications in the kitchen. See pics for more awesome details. Will update when using the blender cups & food processor. I know I sound like I've been paid or am pitching for the company but NO I am an everday satisfied customer....

bk: we needed a new blender. when i grew up, in the 1980s, my family had an OSTER. and it was a workhorse (i think my parents STILL have it. anyhow, i figured I'd give oster a shot.

i'm impressed. very smooth and does a nice job blending. (especially for the price)

the cool thing is that it has

1) a small attachment container for smoothies (i use this)
2) a large attachment container for blending larger things like soups, etc (my wife uses this)

washing

after using, take it all apart and put soap and water in, run the blender, then rinse. (yea, if you've using sticky stuff, you'll need to brush to clean it off)

large rubber o-ring seal

the one area i can see some people having trouble is placing the grey rubber o-ring into the base and then removing it after in order to clean everything. but i like it. it allows me to really get ALL parts clean and this way i know there's no bacteria growing at the bottom of the container.

it took me a few times, but you run your finger around the large rubber o-ring into the base and seal it in. yes, you need to avoid the sharp blades of course, but after a few...
