Organic Raw Cacao Nibs by Terrasoul Superfoods

sue: I use these cocoa nibs to add a hint of sweetness and chocolate essence to my daily Greek yogurt. The taste is fine, I’m just finding these nibs a little less crunchy than others I purchased in the past. I’d recommend them for purchase, just no quite 5 star for me.

LYMANation: Great with additives to overnight oats, Terrasoul chocolate powder and other products, depending on the one of six recipes I use. Crunchy till it gets wet, but still maintains a hardness for chewing.

Have used in matcha & quinoa cookies as contrasting ingredient. Comes out yummy!
Waiting to discover other uses. Have repurchased.

R Bull: I like the bitter chocolate flavor and crunch of these cacao nibs. Nice addition to steel cut oatmeal along with honey for sweetness.

J. Ro: These are probably the best nibs you are doing to find for the price. The bulk buy is great. Better flavor than most and good texture. Note - on occasion I have found a pebble mixed in, which is not great if you are eating these as is. But that happens with all brands, and the only way to avoid that is to buy whole cacao beans and crush them by hand. That being said, I've probably bought 40 bags of these Terrasoul nibs and only once or maybe twice ever had a pebble. Although that once did chip a tooth! So be careful. But they are great.

Gabriel S: 5 stars because it is exactly what it said it would be, it is high quality, has very few if any shell fragments, has no mold or mildew flavor, and seems to be all-around exactly what you're looking for if you like this kind of thing.

But, it tastes like crap. I mean, who eats this stuff!? I bought 2 bags because I'm a chocolate LOVER and have cravings like crazy, but it turns out, after much online research, that the delicious chocolate and brownie flavor we all love so much ONLY COMES IF THE PRODUCT IS FERMENTED, TOASTED, AND THEN **PROCESSED WITH ALKALI**. Yep! It's the "Dutch processing", or processing with alkali that makes cocoa taste so good! So, this stuff has an extremely high calorie count since it's filled with cocoa butter, but it tastes awful AND does not have the deep chocolate flavor I want because it's not processed with alkali. So, if you wanted to eat fermented cacao garbage instead of delicious, chocolatey alkali-processed cocoa/cacao flavor, this stuff's for you! It has all the calories you want to make you fat like chocolate, without giving you the flavor of chocolate. :) Enjoy. :)

Seriously though: 5 stars: nothing wrong with the product...
