JJay: Great product, prob 98% germinating ratio. (even using some seeds i bought 4+ yrs ago, that i stored in the refrig all that time).. Awesome pungent fresh sprout flavors. ALL their products at the Sprout House are great i have found over several yrs of experience w them. I dont use these words often, but I HIGHLY recommend this product from Sprout House, for sure.l
Just be sure to keep them dry and double sealed up - moisture proof and air tight - and freeze them for longest term storage. Would last many yrs that way.
Storing in refrig is not a good idea due to opening and closing door often will make seeds go thru too much and too often and too much temperature changes.

B. Edwards: The sprouts make a very tasty salad or rice paper wrap.

Mary S: These seeds sprouted 100%. I love the mix, a little spicy but good flavor for sandwiches and mixed green. Originally, I used the Victorio multi-tray Sprouter (bought on Amazon). My batch was rotten and had low germination. Then, I switch to a Ball glass sprouting jar by using metal mesh screen, the seeds sprouted 100%. Since Victorio does not allow me to return their Sprouter, I use it to store my sprouted seeds in the fridge. It works wonderfully!

I subtracted 1 star because it is a little pricey. I can get the same organic seeds at Wholefoods and Kitazawaseed supplier for less. As an example, a pound of organic lentil is $2 at Wholefoods and radish at Kitazawaseed is $6/lb. However, if you just want the convenience, then this mix is great. If you want to save money, you need to buy them individually and mix them yourself. Organic beans are a lot cheaper at Wholefoods and their germination rate is 100%. I have already done this with green lentils and mung beans. I have not tried the black lentils yet. The red lentils did not work. They got rotten instead. The smaller the lentils are the better for sprouting. They are so good for health!

WhitneyWhitney: These seeds are the most marvelous thing for my family!
First you soak the sprouting seeds in filtered water in a Sprouting jar for 12 hours or overnight (no need to be exact here).
In the morning simply drain the water out and rinse. Set the sprouting jars (link below) on stands that keep them at an angle to drain out excess water. I use the stands in the second link below. You can put them in any drip tray or even on a plate to keep the excess water drainage from going all over your counter!
Rinse (I don’t always use filtered water to just rinse them) every few hours until you see a tail (sprout) come out of them. May take a couple to few days.
Once they’ve sprouted (tail appears) you throw them in a rectanglular tray (I added a photo) with some organic potting soil under them. Sprinkle a light layer of the soil over them as well. You can put a dense layer of seeds in a single tray, like, not a pile of them but a solid layer of them..they don’t need to be spaced or anything. Keep the soil moist with a spray bottle and cover the tray loosely with the tray lid until the green growth gets to tall for it.
Then place on the South side of your home near a window...

echobunnyechobunny: I've been wanting to grow sprouts at home, so I thought this would be a great way to go. First off, 1 pound is a lot of sprout seeds! This will last me a very long time. The variety is wonderful, mixing traditional alfalfa with lentil, fenugreek, clover & others. It's a nice, tangy mix.

They did not come with instructions, so I contacted the seller so I could grow them properly. They responded very quickly with the following instructions:

Basic Jar Sprouting Directions:
1. Soak the seeds in the jar. Put 1 to 4 tablespoons of seed in the jar. Add water and soak overnight about 8 to 10 hours. Most seeds can be soaked for 24 hours with a water change in the middle at 12 hours.
2. After you have soaked the seeds, drain out the water, making certain there are only wet seeds left in the jar, no standing water.
3. Rinse the seeds with fresh water, drain out the water, making certain there are only wet seeds left in the jar, no standing water.
4. Twice each day, rinse the seeds with fresh water, drain out the excess water, making certain there are only wet seeds left in the jar, no standing water.
5. Bean and grains are ready in about two days. Greens are...
