Omron 3 Series Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor - Monitor Your Health with Accurate Readings

TRHOC: The first time I was exposed to one of these was in my dentist’s office. I was amazed at how easy it was to use and went home and ordered one myself. This is the first electronic blood pressure machine that hasn’t given crazy high readings. It was spot on the readings. I had in my doctors office. Besides that I can’t think of anything that is easier to use.

christine patton: I wanted this wrist blood pressure monitor because of its ease of use. I had an arm cuff before and it was cumbersome to use without getting undressed. This item is simply exposing the wrist. I had heard that sometimes it is not accurate, but I find it is if you follow the directions completely. I have recorded similar readings over time, so am confident they are accurate. I am happy I bought this product; it does what I want with accuracy and ease of use.

JS: It's strong and gets really tight but it's fast and much quieter than my old one. My doc checked it for accuracy and it was dead on. Works well.

Walk_the_walk: I bought this unit along with another arm cuff model that has a Bluetooth option and app. I kept comparing the two.

The Series 3 had consistently low readings. I even bought their $79 Platinum model hoping it would work better. Neither did. Both read too low.

Today, as an example, my BP reading via an arm cuff monitor was 143/84, which is High, meaning I need adjuvant meds.

The Series 3 read 117/77 which is normal. I waited 3 mins. Took my reading again with both devices. Still, 117/78 by the Series 3.

So, at 15 days into my purachse, I went to return it as defective, as it clearly states that it is Returnable. The Amazon system tried to "block" my return and only offered a "contact the manufacturer option" as if it were a warranty claim, instead of a 30 day window return.

I had to request a call, talk to their new AI Return System to get a refund, no return required. That was weird.

If the product is listed as "Returnable", it should be returnable.

The real problem is that Omron wrist devices dont work well for me, so others should be aware and test theirs against other arm devices.

John Supple: It seemed to be slightly inaccurate, but it wasn't too far off and would be worth it for an elderly or handicapped user. Very easy to use.
