The remote is easy to use but so is the app. For me it was more convenient to download the app and use my phone to control the lights from my phone vs using the remote. The size of the lights are very convenient because you can hide them easily and still have the brightness of them. I would have given them this product a 5 star if it wasn’t because of the dry glue around the light. One of them looked like someone rushed to glue in the light and left excess glue around.

T. Cinsky: I ordered 2 sets of these lights and they both came with no remote?? It shows in the description that it comes with a remote control and the first set did not have one so I ordered a 2nd set of lights and it did not have a remote either. So I am confused, does the product have a remote control or not??

Z. Goode: works ok but not super bright, cord is way too short (need to use extension cord if you want to spread them out) and remote is super hard to use. 100 buttons and none of them seem to work. Just keep pushing random buttons and eventually it changes colors.

Douglas C. MeeksDouglas C. Meeks: The media could not be loaded. Right up front let me state these performance of these 2 RGB Floodlights plus selling them for like less than $40 is amazing especially with the multitude of functions you can make these lights perform via remote.
They are VERY heavy duty which you can't see in the pictures, they react quickly to the remote, you can control both lights with 1 remote or you can separate them and use a dedicated remote for each light (it comes with 2 remotes).
These lights are unbelievably bright but can be dimmed using the remote as well as changed to pretty much any color under the sun. There are several patterns that can be used from flashing, manual, slow merge of colors and a couple of others plus they can be used as plain white lights for lighting up an area (the mounting connections are built in to the light.
Since I really can't think of anything I would want a light to do that these lights won't do I have to say 5 Stars for a great item at an shocking low price for such a quality product.

Mr. P.: If you pick up the Bluetooth/App only version you're gonna have a party trying to get them to work. Most places you look will say "You can scan the QR code on the manual or download the APP "Happy Lighting" on Google play or APP Store." First, if your package doesn't come with any instructions, you wont have a QR code to scan. So you'll Google "Olafus RGB LED Instructions." You will likely then find the QR code to download said App. You'll follow the directions that say "Turn on Bluetooth, launch app, lights will pair". Have fun spending an hour trying to figure out that doesn't work.
From there you'll find a half dozen other apps that people use to control seemingly each individual light that Olafus peddles. You'll try them all, and none of them will work...
Somewhere along the lines you'll find out that if you power cycle the lights 3 times they will go in to what looks an awful lot like a pairing mode, flashing constantly for a few minutes. So youll go back through and try that method with all of the previous apps you tried.
Took me a few hours to find the needle a haystack to get these to work. And when I found it, everything paired up...
