dave61_olds: Bought as a replacement for my Modine Hot Dawg heater. Terminal blade is too wide for heater'a wire connector. Hole in hold-down is off, so you have to rotate and catch edge of sensor with the screw. It does function as it should once installed.

G & J Banfield: Got one before liked it cause it keeps on workin, so I got a spare.

Jim Lemons: My furnace flame would light and the furnace would run for about 5 to 10 seconds before shutting off. I then discovered that the flame sensor was shutting the furnace off because it wasn't sending the right voltage signal to the circuit board. The reason: age, and years of good service, but like all good things, they must come to an end, so replacing the original with this sensor did the job, and the furnace runs like new.

Punker McCrackin': Was told by an HVAC guy over 20 years ago that it is always best to replace the Flame Sensor and Igniter yearly on your furnace. He said these are two of the hardest (next to the blower) working pieces on the unit. And the two things HVAC companies make the biggest profit on for service and upcharge. That advice has saved me thousands over those 20 years. Years ago you had to know someone in the biz to get these parts. But it is so simple nowadays to buy them on the web. My only wish is that Amazon would stop putting delicate ate stuff in padded mailers. these really need to ship in a box wrapped in bubble wrap.

This is the perfect OEM fit for my Goodman model furnace. As always one of the easiest installs, and will save you in the long run from having to hire an HVAC person to install. Minimal dollars for peace of mind, I always have a spare on hand, just in case there is an issue. I clean the installed one each month of use in the cold months. And then replace it with a new one in the spring each year.

Tons of installation videos on the web to make this one of the easiest things a consumer can install.
