I would tell you though that these things burn out anywhere from 1 to 2 years so after you see it fits I highly recommend order some back up so you have it ready to go and don’t have to wait for shipping in the event the other one burns out which it will.

These things used to be a lot cheaper at under $15 or so now they’re around $25 give or take so honestly quite a bit more pricey but definitely cheaper than calling a technician out and only takes you around 1 minute to change and your back in business.

Trav: My old one finally failed; the parts shop near me couldn't get one in for a few days, Amazon had this one at my door same day.

It came very well packaged with thick foam. It is the upgraded model so it is thicker, and boy does it heat up FAST!

After you install it and turn the furnace on, you can watch how fast it ignites everything. It's pretty amazing.

The ability to have a better part delivered to my door for a few extra bucks was well worth it.

John: This was easy to install and loved that the connector matched. It takes my unit 2 cycles to get this thing hot enough to ignite (failure state then restart). Not sure if that's an issue on my end with voltage or control board, or if the filament might be different. Worried a bit about longevity due to this - not to mention strain on the unit, but we don't have enough cold days to make it a problem.

Happy Camper: I purchased this item to replace a burned out ignitor on my furnace. The item arrived in excellent packaging to prevent damage. The installation was a snap it was a perfect it! I had to cut the wires from the connector and use the bare wires to connect to the furnance. This was not problem because the item included two wire nuts. I worked great!

Ms.Terry Ryder: Furnace Parts numbers are sure hard to find (they were not even in the Owner's Manual) as are cross reference #s to other 'generic' mfr's versions. Some sellers list a 'York OEM', but then show the Duralight (with the silver tag on the wire) in the pictures, but I have no idea if Duralight supplies them to York or if the Seller is just trying to gouge people.
I am used to car part websites were you just enter your Mfr, year, & Model, and all that info pops right up, plus it is easy to find out who supplies each Car manufacturer, such as Bosch for electronic stuff. I am not sure why the HVAC industry is so secretive about it all when it comes to minor semi-regular maintenance items like igniters or flame sensors; jerry-rigged parts are not always safe to use when it comes to working with gas, but people must 'make do' with what they got when the alternative is freezing to death.
Unlike the jerry-rigged 271W igniter in the furnace with a poorly spliced-on 'N' plug that came with the house (recently bought from an elderly couple, so most likely done by a professional HVAC Repairman), THIS 271N fit my c. 2005 York attic furnace perfectly.
