KB: I was on the hunt for a new backpack that could be used as a one bag solution for air travel. I looked at several travel packs and have used a Tortuga in the past. All the travel packs work well, but are boring rectangles. I have liked this pack since Oakley came out with it years ago. People complain about the too sunglasses pouch, but it is handy. It works well for sunglasses, delicate items, I use it for glasses and snack bars so they don't get crushed. It is not a huge bag at 34l, but holds a lot and expands. Well made for the price and has the cool factor. The straps are comfortable and has a nice hip belt. I can fit a 14” laptop, 15” travel monitor, ballistic plate, cords, hygiene kit, shaver, computer power supply, 2-3 days clothes, safety vest, and more. My first trip I have several compliments and questions about it. I could only find coyote color on Amazon which worked about well since I work for Amazon. The Coyote color was more money ,but worth it. The blackout is also nice. Buy it try return if you don’t like it!

Derek A: This thing is BIG, but likely you already know this if you're looking to purchase it. I've always loved the style and design of these but it took a while for me to justify the cost. I've been very happy with it so far and have used it in many ways. It is heavy.. so probably won't be your ideal hiking/backpacking type of bag. But for loading up for travel it's been great and versatile. Shoes in the bottom, laptop in the back and everything else you want in the main pockets. Sunglasses are nice and safe in the armored top section. And as big as this is, I haven't had any issues bringing it on a flight as my "personal item". It's almost like another carry on!

Justin: First and foremost...the pack is big and beautiful. The compartments are big but there aren't that many. If you are looking for a mobile office this probably isn't the pack for you. I am replacing a Swiss Gear Maxxum backpack that I've had for a number of years and literally stuck out 12 inches from my back, which was not very functional in crowded areas. That being said the kitchen sink still has more space and doesn't have the same annoying footprint on my back. It's just wider and taller. I'm 5'10" and it doesn't feel that big.
The durability seems pretty good but I expected it to be more rugged for the price. I've only had it for a week so I can't say how it will last over time.
This pack is would be better used by someone who carries large items. I usually put some clothes, sneakers(which the bottom pouch is awesome for), and a large lunch in the main compartment. Remember the more you put in the bottom pouch the less space you will have in the main compartment. The office compartment in the front can hold a number of things as long as they are not thick. The molded pockets have limited use. They would have been more useful if they were flexible...

A S H: Such a dope looking back-pack that has the looks, quality & functionality. I bought this to take for my trip to the Philippines. I packed this thing all the way & was able to get so much in there. This is good enough size for a 2, 3 day trip to anywhere if you're just going to be wearing casual & comfy wherever you're going. You have compartments for everything you might need on a trip.
It looks great & that just makes you feel great wearing it. I love the black with the silver hardware on it, but there are other options. There's also a Stealth Black one with black hardware. But the Black with Silver & some red is a much better combination in my opinion ; ] (There's also a Camouflage/Army one, but I'm not sure if you could find it, since it was probably a limited version)
It's comfortable enough, but don't expect to fill it up & never feel a thing. I filled it up, & going though airport security & walking through the airports showed me that you definitely feel the weight, but keep in mind that I had bunch of cloths, laptop + all the charging adapters & cables, SLR Camera, clone, snacks n more.. packed in there.
