Stacy: Wears them out on a regular basis, albeit, months. She must love it, she keeps using it, using it and using it until I have to buy another and then again, another !! LOL Simple and straightforward, she like the flat sponge mop !

Amazon for EVERYTHING: I love this sponge mop. I bought it as a replacement for an old mop that mildewed.
This mop head is very spongy and durable - I scrub tile and hardwood flooring and it is excellent for both. The handle to squeeze the mop head is easy to pull and very efficient. It wrings the mop out with ease. I use this mop with a rectangular bucket which makes it even more of a breeze to use the sponge mop.
The bristle brush on this is super useful too. The brush is very stiff and has taken a lot of abuse so far. I had no idea how disgustingly dirty the grout in my house was!
I am very satisfied with the mop!

basically an optimist: Sometimes a floor collects dirt in places a swiffer cannot pick it up. I ordered this old fashioned mop because it has a squeeze mechanism, and more importantly, a brush to loosen remaining dirt from indentations or irregularities in the floor. The brush is great, though I have to hold the mop at a low angle to get the bristles in the right place. The squeeze mechanism gets the sponge quite wrung out, but seems a bit wimpy... that is the reason that I rated the mop 4 stars. I hope the plastic squeezer holds up, but for now I have no complaints.
My floors are cleaner. Using the brush, my entryway actually looks lighter! I am very happy.
