eric: Compact and effective. The mechanics are very efficient. The size is perfect for a small kitchen yet it doesn't look too small or ricketty

A. JohnstonA. Johnston: The media could not be loaded.  Normally I wouldn’t give a product five stars without having a better sense of reliability and dependability. But I’m so impressed with this induction “hot plate” (for lack of a better word) I want to draw attention to it. Features: nearly instant on, better heat distribution, keeps the kitchen and cook cooler. Twin surfaces allow you to cook on one and keep food warm on the other.
Be aware that a lot of your cookware won’t work with induction. The electronic sensors won’t permit the induction elements to turn on when using aluminum, or high quality stainless steel. I’m not sure about copper. I assume it won’t work with copper clad cookware. That’s kind of a shame but that’s the nature of copper.
The cool thing is that cheap stainless steel and cast iron both work perfectly.
You can also buy quality induction cookware which is awesome and could be sold or passed on for, basically forever.

Kevin: Bottom line is if you don't have the correct pan, it just won't work. Two out of the four I have here worked just fine and they didn't have to be super big to cover the entire surface area of the unit. Works like a charm!

malte strauss: We use this in our outdoor kitchen on the porch. My wife likes the fact it has two burners but a regular 20 amp plug. So you don't need special wiring to set this up. You cant use both plates on full blast. You can run one on high and the other on low temperature. But it allows you to cook one dish while keeping another pot warm. You probably can use this to cook 95% of all meals for an average family. Its also nice that you can built it in if you wanted to. Consider this for a camper, dorm room, or your outdoor kitchen. It is relatively light so anyone can stow it away and set it up. If you built a tiny house with limited circuits it may work well also. We love using it for frying bacon so you don't have the smell in the house. Note that the pots and pans have to have a bottom that a magnet can stick to. So aluminum pots, Glass and stone cookware 'work with the induction. Cast iron works great. so do many of stainless steel pots and pans. We had plenty that we can use.

Amazon Customer: Purchased this product for one of an Airbnb and it is perfect. Quick, even heat and I don't have to worry about people burning themselves on hot burner. Works great with cast iron and can be easily tucked away giving guest more counter space.

Lexington: I’ve been using various induction cook tops for a few years now, and really like the style of this one. The presets are really not necessary, but they work and you will get use to them. The things I wanted to address here are the two major issues I’ve read in the reviews. First off people complaining about their cookware not working with it. It clearly states that your cookware must have a magnetic bottom. The simplest thing to check before ordering. The other complaint is the dual "elements" will not work at the same time on higher temperatures. It should mention this in the description, but it makes sense since this appliance is 110 volts running on a 15 amp fuse. It would trip the breaker if both sides could be enabled to run over 300 degrees or so. I personally have no issue with this feature. I use to have two individual induction cooktops and plugged them into different outlets on different breakers. Rarely did I ever need to have both units set to over 300. Induction cooking is so much more efficient than any other method that you will be amazed at how fast and hot things get at lower settings. This from a person who has switched from a gas cooktop…..but each to their...

Elizabeth F.: This is a replacement product for the glass top stove in my apartment. I have had one for 5 years in another home outside Canada. I am in a rental until travel restrictions are relieved. The apartment has a newer glass top electric stove. The apartment uses electrical heating. I know from experience that this until cooks faster using less electricity. Eg. Soft boiled eggs cook in 2 minutes to boil water and 2.5 minutes for cooking the eggs vs. 5 minutes on stove top to boil water and 7 minutes to cook eggs. A set of induction cookware can be bought for 100.00 Using a cast iron fry pan I can cook a steak at high heat medium rare in 5 minutes . I am a fan. It sits on my stove top.

Jim Gordon: The 5 stars is for the price point only. Based on features of other models, this is a 2 star if the selling price is ignored. I don't trust it a lot but I am building it into a counter to replace a gas stove. This brand is the largest top panel size of any 2 burner on Amazon. I bought the extended warranty, wise for this price point. Ignore the whiners about the flashing LEDs - sure it would be better to not have them flashing at all times but they are not that bright and you have to pay at least twice the price to get one without the flashing. The fans are the loudest I have ever heard for induction, this was avoidable because muffin fans are available with very low noise and high reliability for a few cents more. When built in, they will not be nearly as loud. The top panel trim overlap is quite small so an install has to have a precise opening with no margin for error. The "temperature control" is a gimmick, these just have power level outputs and there is no active control to maintain any temperature relative to pot temperature. The 3 lowest settings all use the same coil with a relay turning it on and off to vary the average output. OK as long as the relay used is heavy duty...
