Gary: I'm very happy with this, tried it out with Krusteaz Belgian waffle mix and got good results using an electric stove. It was easy to clean and put away unlike the counter top models. Plus, not only is it NOT made in China like everything else on Amazon, it's actually made in USA!

Shopping Bean Gal: Nice iron made waffle maker. Just get an oil brush so that the oil does not spill out when flipping it over on the stove. The handle has a nice hard plastic on it to protect you from the heat. I’m so pleased with this heart shape waffle maker. And my waffles come out looking just perfect each time. Great kitchen ware a budding cook should have.

SNCKSNCK: This was my first attempt at making Belgian Waffles. I used Hungry Jack Light and Fluffy pancake mix and followed the instructions to make waffles (for pancakes all you do is add water .. for waffles you have to add 1 egg and oil) I used 1 spritz of Pam on each side of the waffle maker and then did NOT spritz again and made 4 full size Belgian Waffles and a single heart. The non-stick coating is fantastic! None of my waffles stuck to the pan and clean up was easy ... just wiped it down with a paper towel and chop stick to shove the paper towel between the groove. I was pleasantly surprised how thick the waffles came out. The waffle iron comes apart at the top and is durable. The handles are plastic and may fail in the future buy the waffle iron itself isn't heavy - just have to be careful when storing. After reading reviews about other electric waffle makers coming apart at the connection hinge, we opted for this model and we're happy we did - plus side - it's alot LESS bulky and doesn't take much storage space. Excellent buy :)

Browniebaker: The five-heart, Belgian-waffle design is beautiful, the handle feels good in the hand, the cast aluminum makes it not too heavy to handle on the stovetop, and the famous Nordic Ware non-stick surface really is non-stick. This seemed to be the waffle iron of my dreams. Why not five stars? This is why: this pan is advertised as a Belgian waffle right on the packaging, but the non-stick surface does not work for yeasted waffle batter (yeast is what distinguishes Belgian waffles from other waffles). When I flip the pan to brown the other side, the nonstick surface releases the newly forming crust that is now on top, and the entire waffle collapses! Note that this is a yeasted batter that I have used successfully for almost 20 years in my Cuisinart electric Belgian waffler, without any collapse when I flip that waffler. I am very disappointed with this pan. Thank you, Amazon, for letting me return it for a refund. (Amazon is the best!).
