Me: Love them but hard to find in western Canada. Use in cabbage noodle dishes , in soups and in homemade breads.

PennyPinching: I had bought another brand before and it was awful. Spend forever having to pick up lots of twigs and little black "stuff" (don't know what it is and don't want to know). But this particular brand is very clean. Of the 1 large tablespoon. At most is maybe 1 to 2 pieces of impurities (twigs).
Am please with the purchase and to know that the company takes the time to clean it before selling.

Carolynn: These caraway seeds come sealed in a thick, reclosable bag. Mine has a three year expiration date. I keep the bag in the freezer and take out what I need. The seeds last a lot longer in the freezer. I bake a lot of bread and use these often for a great rye flavor. I grind up a few tablespoons in my Krups coffee bean grinder. I'd rather use these seeds ground instead of whole for bread, vegetables and sauces. This bag is a great bargain too.

Ron C: Great for baking. I have a bread machine and love to make rye bread. I use the caraway seeds to enhance the flavor of the rye. Food to Live Caraway Seeds are fresh and flavorful. My recipe: Rye Bread (Tried and True)
1.5 cups warm water.
¼ c molasses
1 cup rye flour.
2.75 cups bread flour.
1/4 caraway seeds.
1 T heaping dill seeds
1.5 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons butter or olive oil.
1.5 teaspoons dry yeast.
I also use Food to Live Caraway Seeds in my sauerkraut.
