Derek: I ordered 2 detectors, but Energizer or Rayovac batteries would not fit (AAA) as the tube which holds the batteries was slightly too small. When I contacted the manufacturer, they quickly resolved the problem by sending me replacements. Both now fit the Energizer and Rayovac batteries. However, the on/off button does not work on one of them. So, out of 4, only one is functional. Too costly to get 25% performance. Not worth it.
