The are very slippery so you need to be careful of that. I wear a medium and then wear a large size rubber dipped gardening glove over it to improve the grip. A bit awkward but it works. You have to remember these do not protect against stab wounds...only slicing cuts.

DRozeDRoze: I purchase some HQ knives as gifts last Christmas and I was sure to add a pair of these gloves with each knife. I tested a pair I kept for myself by dragging a new utility knife across the glove and this is great protection. Great for slicing boxes down for trash day too. Preparing for a dinner party, in a bit of a rush, started to celebrate early? Wear the glove, save your fingers and a trip to Doc in the Box. Rinse it off, throw in the laundry, the glove is ready to go again.

SN from Nebraska: I bought the cut resistant gloves when I bought a mandolin. I've yet to test the mandolin but I am using the gloves on almost a daily basis. I chop a lot of vegetables by hand, and I wear a Nocry glove on my hand that positions the vegies on the cutting board. The occasional slip while cutting that might otherwise nick my vegie-holding hand is averted. The glove will get damp from holding the vegies but since the gloves are ambidextrous, I can flip the glove over and wear it with the dry palm in position. Afterwards, I rinse them lightly to get rid of some of the vegie juice. IT's good insurance against getting nasty cuts in the kitchen.

Porter Jones: I bought these because I recently got into woodcarving and didn't trust myself to not shred my hands to pieces while working on projects. I haven' had them for very long, but I can already say that these have saved my hands several times from dumb cuts I would have made! They're extremely comfortable, and they don't really make your hands sweaty or clammy when wearing them. I had no idea they were supposed to be touchscreen compatible, but I recall them not being super great for that. I'll double check and update this if I was mistaken. I *have* cut myself once through the glove, but it was because I was pulling back on a piece of wood and jabbed myself pretty hard with the tip of the knife. Even so, there was only a small scratch from what otherwise should have been a pretty solid-sized cut, so I can definitely recommend these for others!

Morgan: Oh, let me tell you about my new kitchen superheroes – the NoCry Cut Resistant Work Gloves! They're like the Avengers of hand safety, and I never thought I'd be this excited about gloves. Here's the lowdown on why they're so stinkin' good:
1. **Safety First – Superhero Level**: These gloves offer Level 5 cut protection. That's like having a suit of armor for your hands! I can now wield my kitchen knives like a culinary ninja without the fear of a surprise finger cameo in my salad.
2. **Comfort Fit – Hand Hugs**: These gloves are like a warm, snug hug for your hands. They don't feel like you're wearing clunky oven mitts, so you can still slice, dice, and julienne your way to gourmet greatness with precision. Plus, they're like the Swiss Army knives of gloves – they work for lefties and righties alike!
3. **Versatile Heroes**: Not just limited to the kitchen, these gloves are the ultimate multitaskers. Slicing, dicing, chopping – they do it all! They've even got your back (or should I say, hands) when it comes to handling the treacherous shards of broken glass.
4. **The Endurance Challenge**: These gloves are the marathon runners of hand...

Wayne: Good product for the money. Works well. Machine wash. Make sure you measure your hand to get the right fit. Also best buy 2 pair so when one is in the laundry you still have another. Doesn't dry quickly & wearing a wet pair is uncomfortable.

Fatty: I bought them a little too big. In my experience, Large gloves are typically not large enough. These XL gloves were about half an inch too big for me. If I had to do it again Large would have worked out well. I've handled a very sharp blade for a slicer several times with no issue.
