So many reviews on these things said that they were so hard to get the ice out and so messy.
I bought these for my husband because he’s always eating ice and likes the “good ice” best…. Like sonic ice…..
I’ve made ice with these probably 5-6 times since I received them and it’s honestly not that bad to get the ice out. Crack it upwards crack it downwards and “roll” it over a bowl and you get most of it. The edges are the worst to get out but still not overly difficult.
They’re easy to fill, they haven’t “spilled” on me like some of the plastic ice trays do, and my husband loves this small ice because it fits through the hole on his yeti lid so he doesn’t have to take the lid off to crunch ice cubes.
I like the ice because I don’t hear him crunching it like I do when he has big cubes.
Anyone who complains about these may be a tad lazy and would be better off buying a bag of ice at sonic to get them by instead.

Stephanie Becker: The ice cubes don’t come out! They either fly everywhere in the room or you have to take them out one by one in which case they’re so small they just melt immediately. I thought they’d be great for bottles that don’t fit regular ice cubes, but honestly couldn’t find any way to use these. They’re sitting in the back of my cupboard :-(

Betsy H: I bought this ice cube tray because I am a dedicated “ice eater.” It’s cubes fit easily in the mouth, where they can melt or be crushed. I read the reviews about the difficulty of getting cubes out of the tray. It’s true. They are hard to get out. The online word was “wait.” I gave my 2 trays several minutes of basking in the light on my clean counter. Then, with the hopefulness of a kid on Christmas morning, I picked up one tray and quickly turned it over, holding it close to the counter, waiting for the cubes to fall ... nothing happened except for a few drops of water on my hands. I twisted the trays to the right, to the left, back and forth ... nothing. The ice held fast to the tray. I lowered the tray to the counter-top, bent it back on itself at the third row and EUREKA!, a few cubes of ice were on my wet counter top. After several minutes I had most of the cubes on the counter. I quickly transferred them to my glass, putting a few of the irresistible ice bites in my mouth, I noticed the second tray.... My fingertips were numb, I repeated my efforts. In the end, most cubes were in my glass. They do their job, cooling very fast. They also made a...

Four days ago, "Charles and the team" wrote to me asking for a review. I replied with a dissatisfied review, and awaited a reply. After all, I could be doing something wrong with this simple device. They did not reply until now, with another robo-request for a review. So here it is:
Hi Charles and team,
I plan to write a review on Amazon, but I will wait to hear from you because my experience has not been as positive as I had hoped. Maybe you will have some tips to make it better.
I really like the little ice cubes. It's much neater and quicker than smashing a bigger one to bits.
I have two pairs of ice cube trays for little cubes, a pair of rigid white plastic trays and a pair of your flexible blue trays.
The attached photo shows the results of emptying each of the four trays after 10 seconds each. You can see that the rigid white trays are both virtually empty, and your blue ones are not.
The white trays are a little harder to flex, but once I do, the ice pops out pretty easily; a couple of sharp raps against my hand finishes the job. In 15 seconds, a bowl of ice cubes is back in the freezer, ready for action.
The blue trays are easier to...

Create!: These work even better than I expected! No more smacking our large ice cubes to make smaller irregular chips and pieces. I appreciate having non plastic/non aluminum ice trays and the cubes are a perfect size for our needs. In the reviews I read before buying this product, there were complaints about removing the frozen cubes. One must use an ice container (we use a small stainless steel bowl) which is common. Hold the tray over your container and move it in a wave-like fashion from one end to the other and back again and almost all of the cubes will pop out when done correctly. There will be some cubes left around the edges of the tray that require a little patience to remove. I can do this quite quickly. Filling it is not the easy pour while tilting slightly, of other handle operated trays. Just move the tray back and forth under the pouring water and run your hand over the top once or twice during this process. I would like to have these for larger cubes too, if that is technically feasible.

GiGirl103: Love the idea of the tiny cubes - they seemed like they’d be really cute for my summer cocktails and they are - HOWEVER -
1) cubes are really tough to remove. Maybe I’m missing something, but I’ve only been able to get like 3 at a time out. I even tried emptying them into a bowl and then putting into glasses but they’re so small they melt before I get them all out of the tray.
2) one tray barely fills a lowball glass. If you’re looking to fill a regular size cup or glass you will need two of these ready to go. Not a ideal if you’re trying to make drinks for a crowd or even just your partner.
3) they melt quickly, like I mentioned before.
On the plus side it seems like really good material and I put in the dishwasher and they were fine. Overall would not purchase again.
