Kevin: So the wifi card on my 6 year old laptop failed and it kept freezing the comp. I removed the card and simply plugged in this dongle and just like that, I am back on the internet and the laptop no longer freezes. So far, it's been working great. I've had it for about 3 months now and still getting strong signals out of it. I would recommend!

dkarez4u: My old USB was only providing 2mbps for both downloads and uploads. speeds. I simply plugged in this device and my mbps went up to over 30mbps.I only gave the device 4 stars because when it's plugged into any of my USB ports it's so wide that blocks the next port making it unusable. I need to have access to all my USB ports on my mini HP desktop. So I was about to send it back for a refund and get one that a normal size USB connector. To say the least, I was disappointed. I began digging through my huge tote of cables and wires and found a USB extension and the problem was solved. So if you need all of your USB ports and they are close together you may lose access to one with this device plugged in.

Rak: Once I converted the mini CD they sent to a full size regular C the installation went well. If you don't have a tray that pulls out or ejects you won't be able use the mini CD. The Laptop I have I need to insert the CD and it will not pull it in. If I pushed it in to far I would not be able to get it back out without taking the laptop apart. I don't imagine to many user have the ability to copy the mini CD disc as it an ISO CD. Copying files and folders to a full size CD did not work for me I had to use the copy disc function. After that bit of frustration the install was easy and went well. The USB WiFi adapter worked very well an had very good signal 100+' away from my WiFi modem.
