Stuart: Used this on a ‘trigger finger’ with a finger bandage for over a month now. It works but I sense it is getting a bit less tight. Will happily replace it with another.

Jon Isaksson: The idea is great but the sizes are odd. If you are lucky enough that it fits you then they feel quite comfortable
I first bought XL for a fractured ring finger, but the lenght was border line too long (it would have fitted fine for my index finger) so I thought Large must be right. Today I received the large and yes it would have fitted in the length but it seems to have assumed you have fingers like a 3 year old child in terms width. Very dissappointing.

Li: Excellent splint -- this is exactly what i needed -- it allows me the flexibility to type and still protects the first joint. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat -- worth every penny.

FenimoreFenimore: I just got this today, and I have to say I am very happy with the fit and the stability it provides. I'm recovering from a fracture in the joint of my finger, but I've had trouble finding a splint that keeps my finger straight. Too many splints have allowed my knuckle to bend, which allowed my tendon to shorten. My big challenge now is straightening my finger. This helps -- a LOT!
I like that this splint is very minimalist. It is not readily noticeable. I also like that it allows air circulation around my finger. I am hopeful that it will dry quickly if I get it wet. My prior splint, with Velcro straps, was constant damp, and my finger wrinkled like I'd been soaking it for hours!
Eventually, this splint will fail from bending it to fit, but it seems like that will take a long time. The instructions caution against overextending or flattening the splint for this reason. Still, the splint is very inexpensive, so if it needs replacing, cost won't be a problem. It seems durably made. It's definitely comfortable!

Faeriegrandma: When I developed "Trigger Finger" a couple of years back, I tried a number of different splints and found I liked this one best. It was comfortable, not as clumsy or as hot, easy to put on and take off and best of all, eventually my finger condition cleared up. Strangely, I developed the condition in the exact same finger of the other hand recently so I dug out the old splint and ordered a new one as I felt it was time. Oh - oh, not the same. Looks the same, feels as good on, but I found I didn't dare get it wet. Even if I took it off and dried it overnight, the adhesive holding the foam lining on failed. I've ordered two more and will try not to wet them, which is hard to avoid, but we shall see. But do be forewarned and try to keep them dry.

GregKGregK: I bought this secondary to suspected Mallet finger but it was actually dx. as arthritis by XR. Before purchase, I reviewed many of the available finger splints. After Google review, I determined this was the best offering...having simple design, no added straps and such. I can even use within a larger glove size. It is very comfortable and easy to apply.
Now with that said...I did have some inconvenient issues.
1. The black foam lining came partly detached when I slid my finger upwards within the sleave even when being careful. I was able, for now, to re-adhere it sufficiently. So instead, I slightly widen the space within the splint to accomodate my finger..thus lying my finger in it as opposed to sliding it.
2. From the picture above, you can see a small midline crack on top portion of splint from the widening the pliable splint and then pinching it tight to hold securely. I have also done this carefully assuming that it is a fragile item. I have only used this for one Week!!
For now at least, it is functional. It has reduced incidence for the occasional wince of pain and maintained excellent realignment. Of course, being of arthritic origin, it will not be...

Dianne DeSha: I twisted the middle finger on my right hand--being right handed there's no way _not_ to use that finger in every other thing you do without physically bracing it somehow.
I received one of the more standard velcro strap braces, and it worked o.k. Then I tried this.
It's much better:
* Easier to put on without twisting the finger you're trying to brace
* Holds the finger securely
* Very comfortable
* Only covers the absolute minimum of finger necessary to do the job--making it much easier to feel things, hold things, and manipulate them with that hand or the side or tip of that finger, while still not bending the knuckle.
* Can wash hands with it! (Since it's just a loop of soft and hard silicone, it's not absorbent and you can wash your hands with it on just as if it was a ring or something--make a point of getting soap around it, rinsing around it, and drying around it and everything is fine. Critical for 2020!)
Well made, sturdy, does the job with the absolute minimum of interference in your movements. I very much recommend!

Rachelle: These finger splints are the worse I have ever had. I had surgery on my finger in December of 2018 and my finger didn’t heal right so I need to wear a splint for the rest of my life. I have been on the finger splint journey for awhile now and was hoping I found a great one with this product since they state they are lightweight, firm, flexible, soft, and can be bent/molded as needed. Unfortunately the only thing that is true is that they are lightweight. I tried to use these multiple times and they have been nothing but a headache. They are hard to flex and bend they only go so far. They are not firm-there is jus metal wrapped around your finger with padding that isn’t that cushioning with the metal open in the back and front of your finger. This does not protect it from being it or hurt when using items. Splints protect a finger covering the back and strapping the front, there is a reason for that. I put them on and they kept falling off continuously during the day. I even tried different sizes-no just kept falling off whenever I used that hand. Definitely not protecting my finger. Not an item I would recommend.
