Bernice: I’m so glad I found this product online. I didn’t know what to do about my trigger finger that was causing me so much pain. I was having trouble with it lock it in place. However if I use this on my finger at night, the next day I find it doesn’t lock up. It stays on my finger at night and it’s not uncomfortable. It’s very easy to use and I’m very pleased with a solid product.

EMM: I liked the idea & it worked to a point. The velcro closure at the base of the finger cut into the skin enough to make an abrasion of the area & it had to be readjusted which would make it too loose. It was used post surgery for a joint replacement of left ring finger. An index finger would have been a better finger. I used silicone finger "tubes" also but they would get uncomfortable & when it was on my finger would sweat & get uncomfortable. I think someone who is not as active as myself would definitely do better with this splint. To me, the more activity of the hands, the less effective this splint is.

Batman54: I bought this item because it said it works on straightening arthritic, bent, fingers. First of all, I am a woman with smaller, thinner fingers than a man. This item, though small in size, is still too big for my ring finger. I am wearing it every night and it seems to be working. My ring finger is arthritic, curves toward my middle finger. I put it on at night and take it off when I awake. My ring finger aches in the morning. I take this as good sign. The device must be straightening my finger back into it's normal position. Women, do some research if you have smaller fingers like mine. Men, this will work for you.

1-IRON1-IRON: After catching a football with my middle finger straight out, I knew I needed something to help it recover. I'd never had "mallet" finger and didn't even know what it was, however I have certainly had it occur over the years of tossing the football, hoops and any other similar ball activities! Most of the time, it would just heal on it's own, but. then.....I actually had it happen again....with a football...same place...a week later. Bad timing! Really smarted and the tip of my finger just stayed slightly "cocked" or bent. So I went online and bought this brace not knowing what I should do:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VMKD3XD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and used it or about 6 weeks. The velcro was annoying and didn't stay secure over time. It was also too long so I cut the excess off. Still didn't help. I received this one today--and the other not even close on quality! It's so much sturdier: both in the composite "neoprene"-type material--it felt 50% stronger the instant I put it on--and the velcro is much stronger and higher quality. Gel sleeves a bonus--wearing one as I type. 2 thumbs up.

Additionally, I bought this at the same time:...

Terry in SA: I got this Trigger Finger Splint With 2 Gel Sleeves because I seem to have developed trigger finger in my ring fingers. It doesn't bother me much in the daytime unless I am trying to carry heavy grocery bags or clenching my fists tightly but I was waking up every morning with at least one ring finger stuck in the trigger position. While this isn't the worst problem someone my age can have, it is uncomfortable.

This splint is covered in a soft, velour like, fabric and attaches to your finger with two, long, velcro, strips. There is an aluminum bar sewn into the splint to keep your finger in a straight position. It's easy to get it on and it's comfortable when I am sleeping. It prevents my finger from "triggering" as I sleep.

I don't know how durable it would be if you have to wear it all day but it seems fine for my use at night. I think I will order a second one so I can wear them on both fingers when I sleep.

I also got two, silicone gel, finger sleeves with the splint but I am not using them as it is summer in Texas and they would be hot. The splint is comfortable enough to wear without the sleeves. But I will save the sleeves for times when I have a cut or...
