Exactly what my doctor told me to look for after spending weeks in a brace that still allowed movement at top knuckle. The internal support piece comes nearly flat and you mold it to fit your thumb before closing the straps. I've never had a brace that uses this strap structure either. You can really feel it snugging everything in tightly.

Alicia: Nice brace for when wrist arthritis is acting up. I took off a star because a little plastic piece tends to dig into my hand - ouch. I loosen the fit some to help with this, but then it doesn't work as a brace as well.

Len B.: Good product if your thumb is broken, as it will keep it in place. Not so good for strained or sprained or CTS, as it is quite bulky and does not allow for a lot of hand movement.

P. Bryant: I absolutely despise this thumb splint because it works a charm and I can’t move my thumb at all which is extremely annoying. Great product - it’s padded on the inside which makes it more comfortable than the dodgy one I had from the pharmacy. Granted I’ve only been wearing it 5 mins but it’s driving me nuts not being able to move my thumb and that can only be a good thing.
