Niveau rapport qualité prix je recommande !

take: 柔らかい照明にしたくて買ってみたが、思っていたほどではなかった。
取り付けは問題ないが、いちいち取り付けるほどの効果はない。CN160に付属しているデフューザーと大差ない。

TMac: This diffuser is amazing for leds. You won't get the same area coverage as you would with large soft boxes of course but still does a fantastic job for what I need. The inside grips and four velcro straps help hold it in place on my led light. Once adjusted I was able to shake it, bounce around and do a little jig without the diffuser slipping or falling off. Quality material and craftsmanship, lightweight and comes with its own storage pouch.

Lazar Der Gregorian: For the price, this isn't a bad product at all. The diffusion achieved is quite acceptable and the product is generally well made and robust. If only the design was a little better to accommodate lights of slightly smaller sizes. I use it on lights which are 93X143 mm and so the fit is far too loose. Other reviewers have used additional velcro strips to overcome this problem, which sound like a good idea. I have carried out a slightly destructive modification by punching a hole in the middle of one of the long sides, to allow a screw from the light stand to pass through and screw into the bottom of the light, which creates a much more stable fit. In combination with extra velcros, the fit would probably be near perfect. You just need to be mindful of avoiding to obstruct the ventilation openings along the back and sides of your lights, whatever type of modification you use.

William I. Dube: PROS: Ever since setting up a large lightbox in my office for vLogging I have been looking for different lighting configurations so I could film and then leave my lights up afterwards. This Neewer Collapsible Diffuser is PERFECT!!! Like I said having a large softbox was no longer an option as I was loosing access to almost a full corner of my 10'x10' office. I gave this a try on a set of USB powered LED Neewer lights and it worked well. I can adjust the lighting for as soft a light as I was getting prior with very little downside to the overall lighting for vLogging online. Velcro fasteners outside top and bottom and two silicon rows hold well onto LED Light.
CONS: Rods and pockets like the collar stays on a shirt would be a nice addition to this rig to help keep the box in shape. Slits for tripod post would be nice too, but as light mounts on edge and all is flexible you can actually get your light mounted without cutting the softbox.
YES I would buy this again in an instant. I just wish I had thought of this type of arrangement sooner. Also I will and have recommended this to friends as well. Many of us shoot in small kitchens and if you can do video with less in...

gingersnapbiscuit: Like other reviewers, and YouTubers I've seen rig videos of, I bought this to go with a light that it wasn't quite designed for. It's... close. I will have to get a little bit creative to get it to fit snugly and securely.
[Update: Leaving the top half fastened and then getting another bit of velcro to secure the two lower straps together behind the tripod shaft the light was mounted on (instead of around the front under the lamp) worked. Not secure enough to use with a strong fan on, but secure enough not to slip/fall off in a still room.]
On the upside, this makes a GREAT difference to the quality of the light for something so small and portable! It really softens out the light. Don't expect a truly gorgeous effect like you'd get from a good quality full-size softbox, but for something that can fit in your pocket or be mounted on top of your camera, it's definitely a step up from a light with a diffuser "surface" built in or slotted onto it. I own another (admittedly cheap) light that is supposed to produce "soft" light from the get-go and this + the 176 beats it for flattering light.
Using this also frees up the slot on the front of the 176 for gels, which...

Amazon Customer: This softbox is designed for the Neewer 160 LED as it's back elastic strap and velcro fixing point require the depth of the 160's plastic housing to fix properly. While difficult to mount on the 160, it is not impossible. Requiring a, 'pull, stretch, hold in place, repeat' method to guide the elastic around the frame of the 160 until it can be fixed in place with the velcro.
The Neewer 176's housing is slimmer than the 160's. Which immediately makes fixing the softbox to the housing far more difficult. In addition, while the 160's heat vents can be left exposed to the air with the right adjustments, the 176's slim frame makes keeping it's vents clear almost impossible. The softbox however does a good job diffusing the light of both the 160 and 176 and should be considered as a good addon for the 160. If used with the 176, a different and more reliable method of fixing the softbox in place is advised as the softbox would still provide the benefits afforded to the 160.
The softbox came in a slim zip bag to protect it while in transit and folds away for ease of storage and transport. Once the method of fixing it to a light is mastered through practice, it's a reliable...

Hector R.Hector R.: These are truly Kafkaesque little soft boxes. If you want to get supremely frustrated and scream expletives that will make your neighbors want to call the coppers, go ahead and get some of these. I'm giving them 2.5 stars because you will have to finish the half that Neewer didn't bother to.
Once working properly, they are a decent and useful tool to diffuse light from on camera light sources mainly the CN type housings. I use them on the 216's and 160's with an L bracket. Okay, so like the review below said, not ready to go out of the packaging. No way, even Mother Teresa would have given up. The supplied elastic band is like trying to deal with a small fitted sheet on a sloped mattress (the bevel on the housing edges is slightly sloped). No way they are staying on as designed.
Here's what you can do: I use Command Strips to hang my frames, so I always have some on hand. I happened to have some black ones, so I applied a set to the top and bottom of the housing aligned with the edge of the soft box. I let them cure for about an hour, and here's the rub: I knew that the strip on the plastic housing would hold, but I was suspicious of the one on the soft box liner...

N's Gadget Reviews: The Good:
The small CN-216 (forget about the 160, the new 216 is what you want) is a fine on-camera light, but because of it's brightness (and harshness), it tends to create very nasty looking light on your subjects, and at full tilt it's going to blind anyone that sees it even indirectly. This soft box does a LOT to improve the quality of light thrown off (at the expense of about 1-2 stops of light loss). In fact, it's pretty miraculous as usually I find these small leds too dim for large area use, and too bright and harsh for close up use.
The box also folds up very nice, easy, and flat. You can actually fit the CN-160 or 216, or 126 (all are the same housing) in the bag the softbox comes with as long as you don't have a large sony battery inserted.
The "bad" (or needs a small modification):
I'm knocking off a star for this, but I'm also going to give you a fix.
The softbox is an afterthought. No doubt about that. There is no real place for the softbox to attach to on the light, and so their solution was to cut the box to the size of the light housing, and put an elastic band that wraps around it to hold it on.
Problem is, it's very...

Brendan McCourt: I added this to a dimmable CN-160 LED to use for video calls at my desk. It’s mounted 6” above my head, about 2-3’ away and angled down a little. The softbox really helps. Obviously a softbox will reduce light output, but the LED gets more than bright enough to compensate. The Velcro to attach it isn’t perfect but not as bad as other reviews make it seem. Plus it’s easy to tweak and customize yourself.
