Sid CeaserSid Ceaser: I was part of a shoot where we wanted one large soft light as our main light source. I had an 86" Parabolic umbrella but never got around to getting a diffuser for it, so I found this product with next day delivery here on Amazon and it arrived in time for our shoot.

This diffuser is great - it comes in it's own little zippered baggie. It has a rubber band-like end section that hugs the open umbrella and it has a cinch-tightener around the opening where the light is located. Everything stayed on perfectly and it helped give us a nice, soft light source that allowed our subjects to move around a bit.

We shot for a straight eight hours and at no time was the diffuser a problem. At the end of the shoot I was able to pull it off, fold it up and put it inside it's zippered bag, and it's good to go.

At $30 it's about at average price for something like this. A tad on the overpriced side for what it is, but at the end of the day it's not bad considering it's size, and it's perfect for someone that needs a diffuser for a parabolic.

It's five bucks cheaper than it's similar product on the Alien B's site, and you get fast shipping.

T.C.Zee: Love how easy it is to set-up compared to soft boxes. This thing is huge, so you will probably want a fairly bright light for it. But it gives great light and is a fantastic, inexpensive option for times when you need a very large soft light (when used with a diffuser).

NorNad: I have read many reviews about this Impact 7 foot (84 inches). According to the advertisement, it is made to suit an umbrella of similar size but some reviews revealed that it is smaller than that. Being aware of it, I bought one and, as expected, the actual diameter is 72 inches (6 feet) mesured seam to seam. It fits tight over my 72 inches umbrella and I'm happy with it (it even pulls the ribs of the umbrella inward). I just love the type of light this diffuser provides. The diffuser is not 100% white compared to all my other diffusers and I have to say there is a slight yellowish tint to it (not enough to be a problem). I'm satisfied with this diffuser and I thank the reviewers for their comments about this item.
