This is the best brand on the market! I had been taking 5-HTP (multiple other brands) for PMS symptoms and realized that it was making me very depressed and angry (worse than I already was). I would fall into a deeper darker depression shortly after taking it, the complete opposite of what it was intended for, so I stopped. Someone recommended this brand to me and although I was hesitant and had to work up the nerve to take it, I finally did and I was pleasantly surprised! My mood increased, I didn't get an upset stomach, and a complete "calm" just settled in. I don't know what is different about the way other brands process their products, but Nature's Sunshine has quickly become the only brand I trust as I've had this experience with other vitamins as well. This is an amazing product and an amazing company too!

THis really works. If you take it with food you should avoid any stomach upset. I take 1 capsule 3 times a day, so maybe it also helps to not take them all at the same time.
