Book worm: In 2020 one of our neighbors set off huge fireworks around the 4th of July, so loud they sounded like a bomb going off in our front yard. From that point on my, now 13 year old, Schnoodle has been afraid of fireworks and thunder storms. A friend gave me a bottle of Rescue Remedy to try. Now I will always have some for her. She takes it willingly and it does calm her down emotionally.

Apacherian Savanna: May not work for every dog but truly works for mine.
Fireworks--the WORST experience for all my heelers and labs. Five drops of this on a piece of bacon, 2 times in a row separated by about 15 mins and they seem to notice the noise but not freak out or stress bite. Following dosing, a nap in the crate with some Mel Torme or Ella Fitzgerald on the stereo and its mellow town. I have never noticed a post dosing problem.
I keep a bottle in the pack to use when they need a cactus spine or goat head removed when out working cows or hunting. Really good product and have been using it for decades.

BlueStreak: My shepherd-mix rescue is now about 10 years old, with heart and joint issues. She's always been hyper-reactive to certain noises - fireworks being the WORST. Rescue Relief had been suggested several times by the pet care columnist in my regional paper, so I decided to give it a try, rather than going first to the anti-anxiety meds [prescription] from my vet. Instructions say that the glass dropper should not be put in the pet's mouth - for obvious reasons! Since my girl is a VERY fussy eater, and basically refuses food if there's anything 'hidden' in it, I solved this dilemma by putting the drops on my fingers, and wiping them across her tongue [work quickly!]. On 4th of July, I gave her 3 doses of Rescue Relief in about 30 minutes with some lessening of symptoms. That was until the idiots across the street started setting off fireworks and it became necessary to go the prescription drug route. Between the drops and a calming spray [pheromone] I think we can manage mild thunderstorms pretty well....and I think she had some relief on the nights of the 3rd and 4th when the crackling & booming was in the distance, and that's saying a lot for a doggie who's a drama queen on even...

Donna D: I purchased this after it being referred to me by someone else. I have a very nervous pooch who suffers with anxiety really bad. He shakes in Winter because of the rain and thunderstorms. He shakes continuously if I have workers come to the house and if there is people working outside mowing lawns etc. Since having purchased Rescue Remedy, I find that he is more subdued and happy to lay in his bed after I have given him some. I usually try and give it to him about half an hour before someone is coming to the house or when I can see a storm is coming. It is also great for nervous dogs who get anxious going to the groomers or the vets as it calms them.
