Paijea Renee: I just ordered the bag because I do over night care. However, the bag was so nice that I have used it for over night trips. I’ve had numerous compliments on my bag. I bought the blue and white striped bag. And I couldn’t be happier. Also, the quality of the material is very good for the price. I have overstuffed it for my weekend trips and it’s held together. I would definitely buy another one if needed.

Amazon Customer: Cute bad but there’s no way it’s going to hold up. It’s plastic and the zippers are very loose. I used it for a European vacation that had many legs to the trip. It’s not comfortable to wear on the shoulder or to carry by the handles. It slid easily onto luggage handle but flopped over the side of the luggage room when it wasn’t completely full. Not my favorite carry on bag.

Desire: I used the bag once and traveling with it worked out well. My boyfriend carried the bag because it was heavy for me. The bag stretches beyond the measurements given so check with a tape measurement and make sure you stay within your zone.

Secondly yes small enough as personal item however it doesn't hold shape, I pack a fair amount and the weight of it on my shoulder made the bad seem like I was carrying a giant ball. Very awkward on an airplane. Do not recommend.
