Ashley Speer: I just received this bag today and I love it already. I do not have time for pictures right now but will try to add in the future. It has a very raw leather appearance and smell but I look forward to using it for years to come and watching it age and darken over time from my personal use, that will just add to the special quality of the bag and add some sentimental value as this is the type of bag you keep a lifetime. I appreciate that a natural approach was taken for tanning the leather and chemicals weren’t used.

The love that went into making this bag is very apparent to me and I very much appreciate the craftsmanship and passion this leather worker has for their craft. The note sent in the package is also a very thoughtful touch. You can just tell the maker loves their craft and the name of their business suits it perfectly. Great energy coming off this bag. Keep doing what you do and I will def be buying more in the future. Highly recommend to anyone on the fence.

Porti: Die Reisetasche ist sehr groß. Es passt unglaublich viel rein. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut. Hilreich sind die großen Aussentaschen links und rechts. Und man hat weitere Staumöglichkeiten in weiteren kleineren Taschen. Die Farbe des Leders ist schön. Der Artikel kam in der angegebenen Zeit sehr gut verpackt an. Alle Teile einzeln umwickelt. Alle Metallteile einzeln umwickelt. Es gab keine Druckstellen oder ähnliches. Die Ledertasche wird in einem Stoffbeutel verpackt geliefert. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es weil nach einer kurzen Zeit der Lagerung im Schrank mit Belüftung die Metallkarabiner und Verschlüsse oxidiert waren und Flecken auf dem Leder hinterließen. Trotzdem klare Kaufempfehlung.

SKIP: I felt compelled to write a review because I almost did not buy this bag due to some of the negative reviews concerning the bag's smell when new. First, the bag is big, durable and looks to be well constructed to last many years. I bought it to store gym and work clothes and shoes in the trunk of my car, and for light travel when needed; it more than meets my purposes.

Now about the smell, the bag is made of goat leather, not cow hide, so the smell is different than what you are used to. Cow leather smells more pleasant and goat hide is a bit more pungent, and so I researched on the pros/cons of goat leather before purchasing and discovered, in a lot of ways, it is preferred (i.e. more supple while at the same time being more durable than cow hide). Don't take my word for it, do your own research, but I'm sure you'll land on the same pages I did. Now my bag did not smell up my entire house as some reviews mentioned. I opened the bag up and laid it out on my dining room table for 3-4 days, and the smell dissipated to a large degree. It also comes untreated and a bit dry, so I applied a good coat of leather conditioner which softened and darkened the leather a bit (which I...
