Danica jackman: Bag came quickly, packaged flat but very well, and when I picked the package up off my porch was shocked at how heavy the box was. I expected a much thinner, maybe lesser quality bag for the low price. I am in LOVE with this bag. It smells great, it’s a great heavy leather, the zippers all work really well. The top zipper opens almost all the way down the bag so you can access everything inside easily. It did come packaged flat and I stuffed it with pillows because it didn’t want to keep a nice shape but it’ll be great. I will likely purchase these for gifts in the future, they’re stunning. Would be interested if there was a customization option to get a monogram or name on it!

Susan Henderson: I like the leather. The zippers open right down, so there is easy access to pack or unpack. For me, I should of got a size smaller but that’s my fault. The only thing not 100% is that the handles will not clip together. There is a strap on one handle that should wrap around and snap, so it’s easier on the hands to carry. But my strap is about an 1/8th of an inch to short and no way can I snap the two together. So when I do use the handles I not only have the two handles but also a useless strap to wrap my small hands around. Still, it’s a lovely duffel bag.

Christie: I bought this for weekend trips. I got tired of having to replace cheaper duffel bags frequently so for me it’s more an investment than an extravagance. It’s gorgeous and I love the leather smell. I wish it wasn’t as stiff but maybe age and use will help with that. I’ll probably get one for my son for Christmas.

Gypsyreader: I bought this one and a 20 inch AARON LEATHER GOODS VENDIMIA ESTILO bag for comparison. Here are my observations.

The one I ordered is the design without the shoe compartment. It's made of a relatively soft supple NUBUCK leather. Why is this important? Nubuck is buffed and sanded instead of finished with a protective coating, it is highly vulnerable to wear, as well as staining and other potential blemishes. Basically; it absorbs instead of repel stains. So that's something to keep in mind. If you don't want a very worn and possibly stained bag: you will need to make sure to use an industrial quality waterproofing and stain-resistant spray twice a year or so. The other bag, from Aaron Leather, is also buffalo hide but does not have a nubuck finish and is not as supple. But that finish will be easier to protect, so that's something to keep in mind.

Construction and design: The strap is padded, and most importantly the bag is relatively lightweight compared to the other one, from Aaron Leather, that I bought. The zipper on this one is stronger and more durable. And the inside lining is a dark brown that will hide stains better. And both bags have similar interior...
