Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: Very cheap plastic but only paid few bucks. Using for 8 y/o son to ride around neighborhood. Good enough to figure out if he will use them the mirrors or if they are in his way.
Plastic used in very cheap. It feels like be plastic they use at Dollar tree for toys. However, mirrors are clear the after you peel film off which are a little hard to do.
Strap that is used is not very stretchy. Size of strap happen to fit perfect on end son's handle bars. If strap didn't already got perfect, it would be very hard to adjust the strap bc there is little to no play I the rubber (to stretch and clip). His handlebars are stardard and not replaced, as long as you have original handlebars they may fit.

RJ VillaRJ Villa: This mirror does the job for me. It’s priced very well, and easy to install (no tools needed). No modifications need to be done to your bike, just strap it on your bike handle and viola! There is a protective plastic over the mirror when it’s new so just make sure to remove it. The only con I have for this mirror is it’s not the sturdiest, but I expect that with the price. I use this mirror for my ebike and I usually ride at speeds of 20-25mph, I did notice the mirror being moved by the wind, but I found a way around that (compare pic 1 &2). Overall I’m totally satisfied with this purchase, and shout out to the vendor because they sent me 3 mirrors instead of 2, thanks!

Mike: The curvature of the mirror makes it absolutely useless: the objects in the mirror appear very small due to high curvature of spherical lens used in the mirror. You can see the approaching car only when it's less than 50' (15 meters) behind you and that's assuming that you monitor the mirror all the time. So, with car travelling at 60km/hr, you get less than 1/3 second reaction time, hence, it's absolutely useless product. Additionally, there are two pivot points in this mirror, one is fixed by a screw another isn't, as a result the mirror has to be constantly readjusted. Considering that this is not a Prime item and shipping back to China costs more than the mirror itself, I had to throw this one to garbage rather than return. Note that the problem here is with curvature rather than size, I have smaller Zefal mirror on my road bike and it works fine.

Jonathan SabinJonathan Sabin: <EDIT>
After strapping these to my handlebars four months ago, I was very happy with the way they functioned. Until yesterday... when I walked out to my garage and found one of the mirrors on the garage floor.
They remained strapped in place through all sorts of terrain, and even while the bike was mounted to the back of the car. But just sitting in the garage after a few days without riding, and there it was.
So what happened? Taking a close look, it appears that the mirror strap itself simply snapped in two. It's not fixable in any way, though I suppose I'll hang on to the mirror itself as a spare.
I have to lower my previous 5-star rating to a 2, since anything that only lasts four months before becoming unusable does NOT warrant a 5-star rating.
<END EDIT... ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW>
First things first: The one-star reviews I've seen all seem to be complaining about the fact that the mirrors are non-reflective, or not "mirror-like." At least one reviewer returned them because of this.
Look at the photos. There is a circle of self-adhering protective film covering the reflective surface. It's cut to pretty much the exact...
