Heather Riley: I Love These Mirrors! I commute to and from work across town and not every road has a bike lane. The fragile helmet mirror I had bought kept falling off and I just don’t feel safe without knowing what’s coming up behind me. I bought the pair of blue tinted mirrors and am feeling safe and in love with biking. They were easy to install although don’t come with an Allen wrench so you’ll need to supply. They are sturdy and so easy to adjust, swinging right out of the way when I park my bike so they don’t stick out. I just can’t recommend them highly enough and feel they were great value as they are very well made.

Smilin SamSmilin Sam: I just received these mirrors today. I had read that when they can't be mounted directly next to the grip then the rider's hands tend to block some of the view. That is true to a certain extent, but they're still usable IMO. AND...since I got a set, right and left, if I want I can mount the right hand mirror underneath the bar on the left hand side, and vise versa, and supposedly that works perfectly since the hand isn't blocking the view, according to other reviewers who have done that. I might at some point give that a try but for now I'm satisfied with the way the mirror works as is. I have it mounted on an electric bike and that's why I can't mount it directly next to the grip -- the controller for the motor is directly next to the left hand grip and I can't move that further inward because then I'd lose the ability to push the control buttons with my thumb without moving it off the grip. So for now, this set up works for me.

NOTE (3/15/19): I did end up using the right hand mirror mounted on the left side, underneath, and there is a noticeable improvement; nothing blocks the view and it obviously then gives a more complete look at what's to my side and behind...

Ama BuyerAma Buyer: This mirror is mounted on an adult Cannondale Quick hybrid bike. It should fit most city/hybrid bike handlebars. It will NOT fit onto a road handlebar as the mount diameter is too small for a road bike.
This was a replacement for the Hafny bar end mirror that broke when the bike fell over. This one was chosen because it's higher up making it more within the line of sight that is, less head turning to look into the mirror. As it's not mounted to the bar end, it should be less susceptible for breakage if the bike falls over or get banged around.
The housing is quite robust, albeit somewhat HEAVY. The ball swivel mount has a allen tightening screw to reduce mirror movement. I rode on a smooth graded trail and the mirror moved but after tightening the swivel mount screw, it was more stable.
Angling the mirror up a bit gave me the best view as you can see in the attached photo that shows a car about 15 feet behind me.
Note that I mounted this to the inside of the brake & shift levers. The manufacturer recommends mounting between the grip and brake/shifter levers. I chose to mount further end to not have a OFFSET REACH to the brake & shift levers. Mounting further...
