VinnieP: This worked great for turning off the power to the base of my land line phone during the night. Now I don't receive any annoying phone calls at 6 am, and the system is powered just during the hours of the day that I would like to accept phone calls.

tsmith154: Maybe I got a bad one, I did buy two. The first one lasted around 3 months. It just won't turn on and off anymore. I used it for a turtle tank for two 100 watt lights.

Elliott Hk Asbury: This is a great unit and works as designed. That being said, the programming is a bit hard to manage, and the buttons don't give much positive confirmation that they've been pressed. The main gripe is that if you are inside the "on" window when you program it, the unit will not switch on until the following day, once it has gone through an "off" cycle and back into an "on" cycle. In other words, it won't seem to pickup on an "on" command part way through an "on" cycle. So, program it at least 1 day before you need it to be operational, or program it when it will be in an "off" mode, and you'll be fine from there on out. But it would make changing the schedule difficult down the road.

Michael A. Parkes: It works. What else is there to say. A little heavy. I read at night in bed and keep falling asleep so I set my lamp to come on at 10:00pm and off at 1:00am although I usually fall asleep (meds) before that. Wife got upset having to turn off my lamp at 4:00am. Probably would buy another.

Dave Warawa - PROSALESGUY: Tired of buying timers where you have to google the instructions? Not anymore. The best quality of this product is that it is so easy to set with a TIME ON and TIME OFF feature. There's even a battery within should you disconnect the timer for a few minutes.

I will no longer buy Noma timers - honestly, they are junk. Overpriced and impossible to figure. Spend a few more bucks and buy something that you won't have to buy again in a year. Great for outdoor use in rainy weather. I hope this review was helpful to you.

T.R: I use this plug in for the LED on my fish tank, the programming was a bit confusing at first until I figured it out. But once you play around with it a bit it's pretty good! I got it cycling now so that I know my light won't be on too long even when I'm not around which gives me peace of mind, and now that I have it programmed properly it hasn't missed a beat!

It's a bit bulky and a little pricey in my opinion, but it works so I'm not really complaining!

Amazon Customer Suzanne T.: Once you give the device a chance to charge, it works fine. At first I wasn't able to get them to work, but the instructions indicate you have to let it charge for 4 hours. They will not work until you charge them. I was going to return them, because they weren't working, then I re-read the instructions. I allowed them to charge, reset them, and they are working fine now. Once they charge, they are very easy to program.
