Jennifer W.: I was shown this as a show and have heard the podcast, but this book is even funnier in person. It has a lot of the commentary they talk about, plus other little side notes and word explanations on the inside. It's rather on the small side, maybe the size of a journal, so it'd fit great in a purse or bag to take for waiting periods.

Karine: The book was smaller than expected, but still larger than Jim, pre-op! Nice little handbook with all the wonderfully silly and disgusting stories we know and love, plus plenty more! This was a gift to my best friend who encouraged me to give the podcast a second try. He loved this gift! Now we can't wait to play the drinking game, the rules to which are also included!

Sebastian Zavala: I'm a huge fan of the "My Dad Wrote a Porno" podcast, so I obviously was going to enjoy this book. Yes, it's juvenile, and yes, it's terribly written, but due to all the asides and commentaries by Jamie, James and Alice, it ends up being INCREDIBLY funny. Really --it'd been some time since I'd last laughed out loud with a book. It may not be for the prude --although there's nothing that even *resembles* actual, human sex in the novel--, but this annotated version of "Belinda Blinked 1" is a riot, "fun" (maybe awkward?) activities, quizzes and all.

Elisa: I bought this as a gift for a friend who is a fan of the podcast and she loved it! The annotations are brilliant and you can just imagine the guys saying them. There are lots of activities and games to play, too - a fantastic and ridiculously funny companion to the podcast.

Victor Catano: My Dad Wrote A Porno is one of my favorite podcasts. It’s hilarious to listen to Jamie read his dad’s “erotic” fiction while Alice and James make disbelieving comments.
The book version is also fun. You can finally see Rocky’s disdain for the rules of punctuation and spelling in all its glory. The comments now appear as editor notes written in the margins and there are now author’s note where Rocky tries to explain himself. However, it’s more fun to hear Alice’s appalled gasps as someone tries to grab Belinda by internal anatomy that the author clearly doesn’t realize is internal.
Overall, very fun, but it doesn’t add a whole lot to the podcast.

Always David: This is a great book. It was designed as an accompaniment to the You-tube video series of the same name and in my opinion that is still it's best use, it is definitely not a replacement for the series. It does have a few little extra things to make the book worth buying instead of watching the series by itself. These include little things like a map of the maze Belinda was in, a relationship web diagram and little things like that. If you've just started watching the series or had it recommended then this would be a great little purchase, very reasonable for it's price too.
I bought this as a present for somebody I knew who had loved the series and it was very well received.
