MicoMico: I purchased this 3-pocket backpack to compare against a similar, but smaller, 2-pocket pack (brand starts with a B and ends in E) also purchased from Amazon. My intended use is an upcoming trip to Europe with wife and 2 toddlers so I was looking for convenient access and ample storage, yet easy to carry and stow underneath the seat in front of me.

Like:
1. Lots of zippered storage that would seem to be very useful navigating an airport through security and ultimately onto the plane. Here are the following locations accessible on the outside of the pack: in left shoulder strap (fits credit card, ID, or business cards), bottom of padded area that rests against your lower back, on top of the flap into the outer compartment (seen in one of the pics), left side of the logo on the outer shell.
2. Outer pocket for slim water bottle or umbrella (where my green shaker bottle is located)
3. Dedicated padded area for laptop and small tablet. Unfortunately, my 11" iPad Pro w/magic keyboard does not fit in the smaller pocket. My 13" MacBook Air does fit in the larger laptop slot with lots of room to spare so I imagine it would easily fit an average sized 15" laptop. This makes...

Mig: The quality seems very good. Used it on a 10 day trip to Spain.
I like the many sections that can be organized. It has a USB plug that you can connect your power bank to and connect any device from outside the backpack, great feature.

It is comfortable to carry on your back.

Very god overall.
Only downside is that it is a bit heavy.

KyleKyle: I ordered this bag because my last work bag (eBags - Pro Weekender) was destroyed by my dog. I travel quite a bit for work... ~25% and I had kept snacks in my bag. My dog sniffed them out on multiple occasions and destroyed the inside pockets. Sad day, cause I loved that bag. Looking back now I spent $160 on that bag, and it had lasted me almost 4 years. Some quirks with the design, but I enjoyed it overall. Wasn't the most professional, or the most sleek looking bag, but it did it's duty and it was used a TON.

This takes me to scouring the Amazon world for backpacks. I landed on this Mark Ryden. Why? For me the biggest reasons were:

- Cost
- Aesthetic
- Storage Capacity
- Tech (USB)

I travel with my Steam Deck, plus tons of other tech related items, cables, etc. So I needed a bag that was big enough, that housed my items nicely, and had multiple separate compartments.

Melissa F.: I have taken 3 weekend trips with this bag, and can say with confidence that is nearly perfect! I have tried MUCH more expensive travel backpacks (Aer, Nomadic, Tom Bihn, Patagonia) and none of them have worked as well as this one! Features I love: opens like a suitcase, lots of very functional pockets/pouches in all the right places, padded shoulder straps with chest strap, narrow enough for a small woman's build without feeling bulky and uncomfortable. I also got lightly rained on and the backpack kept everything inside dry! Things I think can be improved: more durable zippers (would love to have YTK), an option to add a waist belt, option to pack away shoulder straps. That is it! I have not tried the port on the outside for charging, so cannot remark on that feature. I can imagine taking this on a week long trip or more, depending on how economically you pack. I highly recommend this bag!!
