Snowman: Looks like good quality (except for the cheap plastic knob on the end), but when I tightened it up (it arrived quite loose in the packaging) it wouldn't spring-punch (its only purpose). After taking it apart and putting it back together again a few times I did get it to work (not sure why actually) so kept it, but I don't have a lot of faith that it will work on my next project and cannot recommend it.

shannon: The punch works okay but the spring is a little weak. Used it to punch some starter holes to set some hinges on some poplar face frames, poplar is a rather soft hardwood and the punch barely made an indentation in the wood. It worked but could be better but hey for the price I’ll keep it.

Bobino: Works once or twice, then jammed. Taking it apart, it seems parts jam inside. A tool like this really has to just work — and this one didn’t.

Michel Montpetit: This center punch is easy to use and the motion is smooth. The pressure is adjustable by turning the handle. It comes with an extra point but since there is no room to store it in the handle, you could lose it before you need it.
Very good product. I used it only once to remove a gear from a shaft. The hammer action did it for me.
