In the AmaZone: I use these for my washing machine faucets, since they are a convenient 1/4 turn to turn on and off and they work great. After 15 years of regular use (I turn them off between laundry uses), I finally had to replace one of them. So maybe 6200+ turns over a decade and a half, and only one of them wore out enough not to shut off all the way. Way better than the standard gate valve.

16copper: These things are awesome. They are a bit smallish but work amazingly well. They are ball valves and only require 1/4 turn to open or close with almost no effort and no washers to replace ever.

SebastianT: I'm slowly changing over all hose bibbs faucet at our farm to quarter turn.
They are so much simpler to use and save time every time you open them up. Further the regular hose bibs which you have to turn like 3-4 rounds before you get full flow start to leak usually after a few hundred openings.
When you got animals and use your hoses on a regular basis, that is reached fairly quickly.
Further, the quarter turn bibbs are much cheaper here on amazon then compared with the big box stores, maybe half the price.
To install them in PVC pipes I use regular Pipe Thread Sealant white Teflon paste. Coat all the threads of the bibb generously with the sealant and screw it in. Slow down at the end - you don't ever want to overtighten or turn the bibb counterclockwise.

Don't Blame Me: Haven't tried yet, but appears good quality. Heavy metal. These faucets are 60-75% of the size of what you would expect the faucet would be. That doesn't appear to be a factor. Function the same and should get the job done. That is what matters. I'll hold off giving a five unit I put it in use.
