B. FamilyB. Family: I got this to install and use with my Monte Carlo 3MAVR60BKBKD Maverick Modern Energy Star 60" Ceiling Fan with LED Light. Installation was rather straightforward and, at least for me, it was plug and play, no programming required. Though I did check to make sure the program configuration was the same before installation. I will say I feel the switch should have been included with the fan in the first place as I prefer it over the remote. Mounting the handheld remote to the wall is an eyesore and at least in my experience, it’ll end up lost or in a junk drawer and hard to find when you need it.
As others have noted, it’s not white. To me, this is frustrating knowing the white handheld remote is a better match for the standard light switch compared to the in-wall remote that’s going to be permanently installed next to other switches.
Pros:
- The installation was rather simple, however, with more complex home wiring such as a three-way switch it could be more complex to install.
- For me, no programming was required. I simply install the switch and it worked.

Mar: Works perfectly with model 3MNLR56BSD-V1. The remote is great for when I want to change function from my bed but the switch keeps life easy by not having to hunt the remote down or Just the simple act of turning on the light when walking into the room. Had mine installed by electrician with no problem.

Ketan Hemraj Gada: Got this in addition to the remote and works really well as the wall switch. Be advised this is wall mount ONLY and not a remote control. Works really well with my Maverick 72 fan but had to get a electrician to install it professionally.
