I picked this up for our rv but after trying it out at home I'll probably get another. It makes nice fluffy one square waffles with very little learning curve I worried it would spill over onto the burner but the batter stayed in the groves without a problem. I especially love that you can wash it so much easier than a bulky counter machine.

SAVE YOUR MONEY & Do Not Buy This!!!
First off I'd return this Tiny piece of garbage if it wasn't so close to Christmas, bc there is NO WAY this trash is worth $12 dollars let alone $25! I've seen better products at Dollar General.
The box was beat up so bad there's no way I can even wrap it as is. I'm not sure what they were doing with it but it looked like they were playing catch and throwing it around the packing facility its so beat up. Maybe that's why it took them 14 days to deliver it when it was promised in 2 days with my Prime Membership.
Worst than the quality and the obnoxious price is that it looks like it's been Used before!! It's certainly not the NEW product that I paid for! It's covered in scratches as well as what look like water spots all over it.
I am completely disgusted right now, this is not acceptable by any means. Do yourself a favor and Buy a Better product.

This is a great little stove top waffle iron. A couple points for new users (and mentioned by other reviewers), since this item doesn't come with instructions.
- Hand wash prior to use (I looked all over and couldn't find a definitive answer if this is dishwasher safe, so assume it isn't to preserve the finish).
- Heat up both sides, I found a couple minutes on a medium-low heat setting on the burner was about right.
- Use oil or non stick cooking spray and use a pastry or other silicone basting brush to make sure it gets in all the grooves so the waffle doesn't stick to the iron.
- Only use about 1/3 - 1/2 of a standard measuring cup of batter per waffle to prevent squeeze out. The batter should just barely cover the indents in the iron and expands while cooking. Close and secure the handle.
- Cook for about 2 minutes, then flip the iron over when the amount of escaping steam starts to decrease in volume.
- After flipping, release the handle clip, but don't open the waffle iron. Cook for 2 minutes.
- After the 2 minutes, gently open the iron, using a fork to separate the waffle from the top iron if needed. Once...

Compact and does the job. Edge lip effectively keeps batter from spilling out while cooking. Waffles are great in thickness, and cook evenly on low heat,
flipping the unit occasionally. Suggest using nonstick spray, even though surfaces are nonstick; it helps evenly release the waffle when it is done. Easily cleaned by hand.
