The roller works well to massage the feet, but the balls are sharply pointy. I can only use them if I am wearing a thick layer of socks for the feet or clothing if used on the back.

This was my favorite of the 3 rollers I tried. It has the largest spikes and has the most impact. Also versatile with the two balls, offering an option to massage both feet at the same time. Helping with heel pain and recovery from dance classes. Wish I could get it in pink or other colors
