kitana: So many crappy plastic handles out there. This one is metal and so is the trim plate! My contractor installed a positemp valve, but I had purchased a handle that didn't work with it. A frantic search brought me to this, and I'm glad it did. Love this handle even better than my first choice.
It functions well, looks absolutely right next to my other choices, and was NOT plastic. I'm sorry but no matter how much you try, plastic doesn't fool the eye and it cheapens the whole room. So many manufacturers seem to be trying to make as much as they can out of plastic and I just hate the stuff!! Well this isn't. Tempted to buy 5 more for future potential remodels!
