Dawn: This is an excellent replacement for the old trim that was in my shower. I wasn't sure which Moen shower valve was in the wall, but took a chance. This fit perfectly and looks much better than the old one. I had replaced the plastic tear-drop handle with one of those universal levers about a year ago, but that thing was chrome over plastic and started to peel. This unit is chromed metal, and should hold up much better.

Guru RiderGuru Rider: Finally upgrading my old handle as it was plastic and kept breaking every 2 years. Went and ordered this. I like the fit and finish and the install was very easy. Took me about 10 minutes hardest part was installing the set screw for the handle. Still easy just tedious. Make sure you have a Philips head screw driver and imperial Allen set to install as they don’t include any tools. My house is from 2006 so as you can see in the first photo it already had the right adapter on. So all I had to do was remove the old one and fit this one. Would buy again worth the price. Really updates the bathroom look and it is much stronger and should last way longer.

M&M: Just like their other products I’ve used, the finish and quality is nice. Install was quick and easy. Nice look and feel. Got it for a great deal on Amazon too. Only gripe is the size of the set screw for the handle. It’s an allen screw, which is fine, but the size is 7/64 or something. I have all of these allen wrench sets, allen screw bits for my drill, etc, but I don’t have that size. Seems like I have every standard and metric size around that size, but not the one that actually fits. How about just including the wrench Delta? Or use a size that’s common to most allen wrench sets? My one gripe. Hope they listen.

APLJaK: needed to replace old handle. Moen, like everyone else, has redesigned and eliminated the sold metal attachment piece and replaced it with plastic. Works fine, easy to install but there is a bit more perceptible wiggle that there was with the metal parts

Make sure you get the right parts. There are 2 or 3 different design valves over the years. This is for the Posi-Temp valve which is for rotate temperature adjustment only. There is no flow control.

Selling trim and valves separately is convenient if you need replacement parts, but expensive.

Infallo: Très beau et bon produit, n’est pas fait en plastique mais en métal ce qui lui donne fière allure. En plus de la poignée vous avez dans l’emballage toutes les fournitures pour remplacer un poignée déjà existante c’est ce que j’ai fait! Vous avez dans la boîte la poignée, la plaque qui va au mur, le contrôle de la température, l’adapteur en plastic pour la nouvelle poignée et l’adapteur en stanless pour le joint entre le mur et votre poignée.

C’est vraiment super pour redonner un nouveau look à notre ancienne poignée qui avait plus de 30 ans de Moen. 5 sur 5
